Great! I thought I could only watch LeBron vs Curry. Both games could be good. :)

Right on pace for the expectations of pretty much everybody not named long time guy.

WHO THE FUCK WOULD TAKE HIM? The owners are shooting themselves in the foot. They do that in every sport. If they have a huge investment in a player they hate to admit they made a signing mistake. Matt Holliday, Kobe, Rose, Soto and ARod come immediately to mind. Taking up roster spots where a talented prospect could be developing. It's just fucking insane.

In the case of Rose they're banking on him returning to form, but instead of sending him to the D League where his futility won't hurt the Bulls as he "heals", we have to suffer this worthless cocksucker for what; another 10 years?

In fairness to the Bulls, they gave him that contract coming off an MVP season. Any team in the league would have given Rose that deal.

I will agree that he should be benched under normal circumstances. The only problem for me are the guys that are playing behind him. Brooks can't be your starting point and neither can Hinrich. That gets you nowhere.

Hoi berg is making too many mistakes. Mirotic should not have been inserted into the starting lineup. Start McDermott and get it over with. I watched Thaddeus Young work over Gibson too. Scored the first 6 of the game and 10 out of about the first 16 if I'm correct. Taj needs to go. Period.

Rose is a problem but the bigger problem is the lack of quality backups playing behind him.

Agreed. Timing is everything. I don't think his issue are physical at all and will only get worse (if that's possible) if someone doesn’t have the balls to do what clearly needs to be done.

Resigning Rose was obviously the right thing to do. He doesn't appear to have any pride. That's the biggest problem that I see watching the guy play. Every "great" player exhibits that. He thinks he is great but you never see him imposing his will on any games. Too much letting the chips fall where they may. About 20 more games and it will be time to fold the tent.

I'm not willing to give up on this team so early but major changes need to be made. Especially when Butler and Noah are saying similar things.

"I mean, what is the identity of this team?" Noah asks, a few days before going down with a shoulder injury. "It's hard to say. Our identity has always been: You come to Chicago, you're in for a war. It's not like that right now. I don't care what the numbers say. Just watch the games. There are 25,000 people in the building, and it's dead quiet. It has never been like that. It's tough to see the building that way. And it's on us. You bring the fire, and they will love you here. But if you're coasting, playing this low-energy game -- I'm not sure we can win like that."

Noah is right. I was at the 4OT game last week, and it was like a tomb in there. A 4OT game is probably a once in a lifetime game to witness, and the crowd was barely into it. The ticket prices you see on stubhub also reflect people's interest. You can buy great seats in the 100 level for about $80-$100 right now. It's nice if you want to check out a game at the last minute, but the product has just been terrible.

I saw that too. Its obviously that Rose is the guy he's referring to. There are others but Rose is the ring leader. I was never the biggest Rose fan but I'm trying to root for the guy now. He is not making it easy though. He is playing poorly and seems disinterested. That is not a recipe for success.

And they'll win and somehow the organization will once again get away with not being criticized on a national scale.

Part of the reason Thibs was fired was due to the shots Bulls management took on national TV broadcast last season.

No, Thibs was gone no matter what. The only thing that might have saved his job was a championship. Van Gundy was just sticking up for his guy.

Sound like a good time for a CSFMB Bulls game 2016? Your broker guy would probably give you a hell of a deal now.

The biggest issue I have with Hoiberg relates to his use of personnel. I'm all for thinking that he is still in the evaluation stage but why should he be when you really think about it? He has been the Bulls coach in waiting for over a yr and he should be familiar with their roster by now. He should have a clear understanding of what he wants to do and who he wants to play. It's not like there has been much turnover in the roster so why he is he so indecisive?

I think coaching college players in Iowa and then jumping to the pros can be tough. Regardless of what management said he'll need an adjustment period. It's completely different from Thibs winning a championship and being around pro players for 60 years before getting a shot.

The deals I find are usually some guy trying to dump 2 tickets like 3 hours before the game tips off. Finding 20 tickets, and assembling a group of people in 3 hours might be a little challenging.

The other issue I'm having is this "Jimmy Butler is our leader" thing. I keep hearing Butler say it but I never hear his teammates say it. There are 3 guys in that locker room that are more experienced and accomplished than Jimmy Butler. I'm wondering how that is sitting with them. Every time a microphone is placed in front of him I'm watching him talk about his role as team leader. I can't remember any player from the team saying that.

Noah says it but he also says Butler needs to improve his leadership skills.

Rose undependable
Noah maybe
Pau threw Thibs under the bus

So that leaves Jimmy

Butler is the leader. He is the face to the media. He is the go to guy on the court. You can see the teammates defer to him. I believe Noah would be second in command when it comes to the players, and based on his own performance compared to Butler...he has taken a backseat to Butler in the last two seasons. The way it should be. I don't give a shit what Pau says or thinks. A decade ago he was my favorite player. I was excited when he came to the Bulls. He helped run one of the best NBA coaches out of town and he doesn't help this team's chemistry for shit. He can't be gone soon enough.

I disagree about Gasol. For what the guy is being paid he has been a helluva bargain. Best free agent acquisition discounting LeBron last season. I do think he is a clubhouse lawyer though. I don't think he has been detrimental but he does need to stop with the backstage politicking.
