MOR Middle of the road. You know, people who like beer, but not really.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the DDC, but a man can only drink so much.

Not a beer, but I nabbed 3 bottles of Angel's Envy Rye at a nearby Binny's yesterday.

Restocked the Kirkwood vault last week for the holidays:

Alesmith Speedway Stout
Alesmith IPA
Surley Abrasive
Oskar Blues Death by Coconut
Cantillon Iris
Cantillon Gueuze 100% Lambic
Cantillon Cuvée Saint-Gilloise

I really wanted Fou' Foune but oh well. Maybe another time.

I had the Alesmith Double Red IPA the other day. Very good, but not as good as the $11/bomber price I paid.

Alesmith IPA is on sale at Binny's for $4.99. Great deal, in bomber terms, of course.

Maine seems to have sent a bunch of beers to the local Binny's recently.

Get them. Get all of them. They are so good.

Great stuff. Had one last week.

Comes in their parents bottle but with the Alpine label.

Yeah, I've seen lots of people saying the GF version sucks. I was lucky enough to visit Alpine last year, and while the GF isn't as good, it's still damn good. I've got no use for Hoppy Birthday or Duet though.

Didn't make it to Alpine brewpub but had Duet, Hoppy Birthday and Nelson at Stone Tap room this past May. From what I remember Hoppy Birthday was the only one I didn't like. :drunken:

my favorite may have been the imperial .394 which surprised me as wasn't really a fan of regular .394.

I've had some Christmas Ales that were undrinkable.

There are several I'll never drink again. Sculpin tastes like ass, for one.

I bought a 4-pack of this beer over the summer. It might be the worst beer I've ever had in my life.

When Two Brothers first opened I bought a six-pack. Obviously there was something seriously wrong -- when I popped the cap, beer came exploding out under extreme pressure. Tasted like no beer I ever had before or since. Super fizzy like club soda...not little beer bubbles, but big ones. Never really trusted them much after that. There's only like 10,000 other breweries to choose from...

BUT, other than that, I have never met a beer I wouldn't drink.

I used to not like Sculpin, IMU. Then I found a fresh bottle, which can be tough, and completely changed my opinion. I love it.

I had it out in California... Long Beach. Granted that isn't the same as at the brewery in San Diego but... LA might practically be Ballast Point's second hometown. I see that Mariano's here in Chicagoland carries it now so people must like it. But it might be the worst IPA I've ever had. Maybe one day I'll try to be brave and give it another shot.

Wow. The worst? I would buy it more often if not for the price. Grapefruit Sculpin is even better than the regular.
