Bartolo Colon threw only 94 pitches in 6 shutout innings this afternoon, while the White Sox started a number of reserves such as Brent Lillibridge at second base, Wilson Betemit at first base, Brian Anderson in center field & Corky Miller catching with Francisco Liriano toeing the rubber for the Joe Cocker-looking Ron Gardenhire and the Twins. If Colon can pitch like this throughout the regular season, the Sox should be OK.
