Interesting pairing. Mitch thought long and hard about it. It could only be Grote with her in his mind. He's right. Anybody else on the SCORE bench would say something that would set her off. Grote won't. He'll just do his usual goof act with his 2 or 3 tiresome impressions.

I'm sure she'll be thanked by somebody for her courageous stand against the rape culture.

A planted call or phony tweet/email seems right up her alley. Maybe Bernstein even wrote one up for her to read.

Is they guy I was talking about Matt or Mark Rodewald? It sounds like I was wrong about it being Grote (or Esposito).

Yea, thats Rodewald. He's smarmy.

You're thinking of Matt Rodewald, reffed a high school basketball game with him last year, quite interesting. By the way JDC is on Saturday as well with Espo from 1-5.

Rodewald does a lot of shit outside of working at 670. He's done IndyCar pit reporting as well.

Thanks. Heard the name but couldn't place him.

So far these two are fingers-on-the-chalkboard while talking to someone about baseball.

They just had a very back-slappy interview with Ron "Coom" Coomer and now there's a surprise guest caller...and it's Len Kasper! Wow!

Not a big surprise, I suppose, but this is too Cub hand-jobby.

Why are you guys listening? Is it like looking at a horrible accident, you can't just look away? When they announced this pairing I knew what I wouldn't be listening to today.

Spot on. Bad show without these two idiots banging the mic and it we already know it's worse with them.

Hit your radio with a hammer.

I had to fold a load of laundry so I turned on the radio and listened for about 10 minutes. Some guy calls and is over the top complimentary Julie and how she is a real professional broadcaster. It had to be her husband or a friend.
WTF is wrong with Mitch?

I was still at work for another hour and was curious.

Grote does the impersonations too much.

Caller said Hey guys, it was great to hear from Len Kasper, he's a great guy. You know who else is a great guy? KANER!! . Grote was a bit confused and said Well I don't know if we can call Kane a great guy, I mean you really think he's a great guy? Producer mustve talked in his ear right then cuz he moved right on to the next call w/o saying anything more about it.

We're used to it during this time slot.

Funny...I didn't hear the beginning of the call about Kasper...I only heard the part about Kaner and laughed out loud in the car...then I changed stations.

I caught a decent amount of it yesterday on a long drive.

I thought she was sounded very pleasant. I also thought she was smitten by Grote. She was laughing at all of his bad jokes like a school girl in love.

I guess she saves her vitriol for twitter.
