These two are going at it again. This time Bernstein got Zack with a front and back hand combo!!!!!

Zack is trying to make the point that team chemistry and brotherhood matters in the NFL. That going out to dinner with teammates helps win games. Bernstein shot him down basically saying he wants big, black, talented wang-whippers and that it doesn't matter if you had a burger with a guy the day before the game.

Then Zack got all pissed that Bernstein was pretty much calling him a dumb ass so he brought up an older argument that he had with Bernstein. He declared he was right about Greg Olsen being good when Bernstein said he wasn't way back in the day.

It's the frustration of Zack. He always had that Olsen thing in his back pocket and brought it out today. He gets embarrassed when Bernstein does him the way he does and wanted to let the listeners to know he once beat Bernstein with the Olsen thing.

Drinky tried to jump into the argument to defend Zack's position. Bernstein dismissed drinky quickly and drinky went away with his tail between his legs.

It is ironic that drinky would be arguing that chemistry and brotherhood matters in the work place. Drinky despises Bernstein. They don't hang out. Drinky has said he's often gone weeks without even speaking to Berntein cuz he hates him so much. Yet, in spite of this, they still beat Silvy and Waddle on a consistent basis. So chemistry doesn't matter in radio!!!! Or maybe it just means that producers are insignificant to a show's success or failure. Because the people at THE GAME had great chemistry from what I understand.

Second question Danny asked (Bruce?) after the Lackey signing was about about his clubhouse presence. IIRC he praised Heyward signing in part because he's a good fit for the team. WYC Thursdays at 5:00.

Danny also asked or made a comment about Lawrie's past locker room behavior when the Sox acquired him.

Even Rozner bucked up to Bernstein in this argument. But like they all do, they try, then they just say fuck it, cuz they don't want Bernstein to do them like he does the callers. They're all scared of him for that reason. They don't want to be called meatballs or dumb ass crackers.

Can anyone here tell me what corporation that Bernstein ever worked for as a "workerbee" employee?

So having worked in broadcasting, which is not to ever be confused with journalism, when it comes to professional athletics he's been closer than most and been around more than most, right? He can spot the clubhouse cancer a mile away, confirm from his sources and report that there could be an "alpha dog" feud brewing, and determine who is or isn't the clubhouse leader.

No, I am not here to defend Zaidman (who does a far better job than Bernstein ever did when sitting on Wannstedt's lap). But in my limited exposure to professional athletes I do know that they regularly have "get together's" to build chemistry. It isn't a matter of winning builds chemistry because some of the all-time greats were raging a-holes that the rest of the team couldn't stand, but they enjoyed the champagne shower in the end.

Think about it the next time he "bitch slaps" someone, or pontificates on how corporate culture is supposed to function. Beyond being able to speak articulately he is full of shit on most everything he talks about.

I think it's reaching a boiling point with Zaidman as we saw in today's episode of "Bernstein bitch slaps Zaidman". Good thing the season is over next week. So only a few more times that Zaidman has to talk to Bernstein. Because I think he's close to killing Bernstein.

Zack really is a proud guy that thinks of himself as a Bears authority. He feels that he should be respected as such an authority. Bernstein cuts him down every week. Belittles him and shoots down his commentary and opinions. It enrages the red head when he does so.

It is a lot easier to pack it in during times of adversity when you play sports with guys you hate.

Bernstein is clearly tired of ZZ valuing his access so much that he never shares useful information.

Unlike Bernstein, who is willing to burn his inside sources to share with the listeners true inside information.
