Hey Mac, thanks for your support on the "remove Bob Griese from the HOF" commitee. I know you understandably do most of your posting in the MJH section, but I couldn't help but hear my own words coming out of your mouth today when you called for the bust of Bob Griese to be tossed out of the Hall. About two weeks ago, I called for the same and asked for more nominees in my quest to remove undeserving members of the HOF. I liked hearing the fire and passion today exposing the ridiculousness that is Bob Griese's "HOF" career.
....also, as an aside, what was with Jurko today? He was on fire! hilarious... solid show today. Never heard of "Breaktime in Naperville" but go back ASAP if that helped with the show.

Feel free to add on to the list of nominees to be removed from the HOF and thanks for adding some credibility to my plea.

Namath deserves to be tossed out first.
1. 11 years with more INTs than TDs (Griese 5)
2. 43 more INTs than TDs (Griese plus 20)
3. 65.8 QB rating (Griese 77.1).

Namath did throw for more than 4,000 yards in 1967. He also had two 3,000-plus seasons, but he completed less than 5 percent of his passes those years.
Injuries ravaged his later years, but he also threw a crapload of picks when he was playing the entire season earlier in his career.

Griese was more of a game-management guy, but he was a piece to the puzzle for those really good Dolphin teams in the early 70s. His performances don't stand out -- nothing flashy. I thought those were the reasons given for slamming the door in Art Monk's face.

You mean less than 50% of his passes (looked it up). I was like wtf how is it possible to throw for 4,000 yards on 5% completions.
