Kylo will be "tortured" by his tug of war with the The Force, until he realizes that he is gay (Light) and a female! He will then undergo a transformation and become the good guy and save the universe. It will then be revealed that the First Order all bad guy Alpha males and the Resistance are gay warriors and they triumph and fuck each other.

Vader chokes out a dude, but Grand Moff Tarkin just orders him around throughout ep4. Vader is always kind of a bitch, and his respect for the chain of command in the Empire (despite his complete disregard for the Jedi order) is ultimately what makes him little more than a maskm

Right before that dude killed his own father, got shot in the abdomen by Chewbacca, and defeated Finn in a saber duel. In the script it stated he was actually weakened by killing Han (where he thought it would strengthen his dark side, but because of the pull of the light, it didn't), & he held his own against Rey, who was already a badass before she realized her Force powers.

I don't think Kylo's reached his potential yet.

So killing a senile, decrepit, and defenseless septuagenarian makes you a badass? Beating up an inept doofus proves you're tough? And getting schooled by an ingenue in a duel with light sabers--ostensibly your hallmark weapon--elevates your status as a villain?

I repeat: Kylo Ren is a wuss. But at least he can blame his wussiness on an injury, I guess.

You guys are making me like this movie less. I wasn't too thrilled with kylo either though. I liked it but mostly because it was a remake of episode 4 and felt that connection to my youth. This rode the coattails of the previous movies but I still enjoyed it.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed that Harrison Ford has lost a lot on his fastball.

It's not about Solo being old & decrepit, but more about Kylo cutting himself off from the lightside, which ended up not happening. While Finn's not the greatest combatant, he's not completely untrained. And I'd hardly call lightsaber dueling Kylo's hallmark weapon. His saber is a piece of crap & the rock in it is bound to burst @ any time. It has a large crack running down it, which is why he needs the two hilt vents to let the excess energy out.

Kylo's far from being a great villain. He's prone to tantrums & still has a lot of training to go through. But I don't think he's going to become that Vader villain. I think the goal of the trilogy will be for Jedi to balance both the dark & lightsides of the force as opposed to being one or the other. He'll eventually turn against Snoke & join sides w/ Rey & Luke.

The new Star Wars was just fine. Nothing more and nothing less. Kilo getting bested was no more lame than Maul getting bested by a student imho.
