Late word--unconfirmed--that Riley Martin has passed. I would assume alcohol-related. He will be remembered as the one who call Stern a Big Bird-looking Hook-Nosed Jew.

He was usually so drunk that he could barely speak and yet his Laurence Holmes-sounding producer always played it perfectly straight. I wonder where he'll end up.

They did it this morning. I only caught the end of it but they were playing a bunch of good clips.

He may have been up there with the weirdest/craziest guys I saw on Stern's old E! show. Especially when he flipped the switch and realized how much they were laughing at him.

I heard some of it on the replay yesterday evening, good stuff. I had no idea how far back Riley went. Though he apparently died two weeks ago and nobody said anything. And things of that nay-chuh.
