$1000.00

Sounds good to me.

It doesn't seem like a time period was specified though. Tebow has not indicated that he is giving up on his NFL career yet. There is still a chance that the former first-round pick makes an NFL roster again, especially considering the amount of substandard quarterback play currently in the league.

Finally someone who understands English. No one would read this bet proposal and deduce that there was a time period specified. It clearly says "that Tebow doesnt throw a pass in A regular season game. There is no mention of a particular season or end date. Maybe we should let an English major like Bernsie decide?

It is rather amusing to see you knuckleheads flipping out and dominating the board with this. Lets see if we can get this into every thread. Then a couple of you will probably take a break from the board.

Technically, he has a point.

EDIT: There was no specific timeline on the wager. Tebow could throw a pass in an NFL game someday, I highly doubt it, but he could. The parameters should have been set at this season. They were not specifically stated. The implication was this season. Chus should have set hard parameters. He did not.

What's a man to do?

This isn't the first time Mr. Scorehead hasn't honored a bet. He has a history of this.

False. You said Chip would make it work. I disagreed, and proposed a bet, which you accepted.

Funny you try to go there, after suggesting that this wasn't an open bet, yet now you try to make it an open bet.

FAIL.

 Yeah, and he was cut in the preseason, after Belichick saw that Tebow was useless. It's a publicity stunt. The sports media will be talking about the Eagles for a few days.

Hey Scorehead, I will bet you that Tebow doesn't throw a pass in a regular season game? Name the stakes.

$1000.00

Will that be cash or check?

We were clearly talking about this season. Scorehead went out of his way to say that if anybody can figure out how to use Tebow, it was Chip Kelly, which prompted my proposal. See the posts that I quoted. It's pretty cut and dry.

What is Scorehead saying about himself if $1000 is more important than his good name? My good name and honor are worth a lot more than a dime.

This will be my last post on this topic. I think we've all learned quite a bit here. It's sad when men can't honor their word, and that they would use someone else to prevent paying up.

Considering SH's past history of not living up to bets around here, I am not sure why anyone would expect this situation to be different. He always finds a loophole or has an excuse ready.

The bet can't be settled until Tim Tebow is dead. That's not a loophole; it's just common sense.

Scorehead, if Tebow is killed or paralyzed in the near future, would you then agree to pay the bet?

This isn't about me, Mr. Scorehead. This is about honor and integrity, the very principles on which this country was founded. Why do you hate America?

So you're acknowledging you made the bet and it stands? What is a reasonable time frame for you to pay off? Or are you going to try to wiggle out by saying Tebow is still alive? Frankly, that's pretty fucking weak. I think you'd be better off taking the stance that you have no respect for the forum and nothing you say here means anything at all.
