Until Tebow gives it up, I'd say the bet is still active. He's been pretty adamant about getting back in the league.

Even though the context of the original bet seemed Eagles-related, even when I first read it months ago I questioned if it was season or career-related.

I think Chus bought himself some time here before he has to pay up.

Jesus, what took you so long? I knew you would be there for me. My Guy!

So for the record SH: you acknowledge the legitimacy of the bet. You just believe it is still undecided. Is that correct?

No. It's because of what you did. No one is out to get you. Your lack of integrity is the primary issue.

Yup. As fas as legitimacy goes, to be honest if I was on the other side of this bet I would never ask or expect someone who I dont know on a message board to pay up, and if he did I would return the money. But thats just me.

Well, I take exception to that.

WIN DR. KEN'S MONEY held to the principle that money would be paid out despite the lack of GIVE DR. KEN MONEY threads.

So Scorehead. When it is no longer possible for Tebow to throw a regular season pass will you then pay up on the bet to Chus?

Yeah that's bullshit. As far as I know you are the ONLY person here that doesn't honor a bet. Your word was crap when no money was involved.

If I missed it I apologize, but what would Scorehead have gotten if Tebow did play?

Doug Flutie hit in the NFL when he was 36.

Tebow is 28.

Nobody that saw Flutie play on the Bears thought he had talent.

Except, of course, DA COATCHHH!

Well. One one thinks Tebow has talent either. But to not have talent is one thing. Plenty of that going on in the nFL. I mean look at Andrew luck.
But to have baggage and no talent.... I mean.... yikes.

Flutie was still playing professional football between when he left and returned to the NFL. Perhaps Tebow should have taken the same route (seriously).

Seems like the whole thread, including Scorehead, is in agreement that it's a when, not an if, question on this bet. Just don't die Chus, and you're in for a payday. Congrats!

Also: take screenshots Chus. Sometimes threads disappear around here. Especially threads that are not kind to right leaning individuals.
