One winter at U of I I made several trips to the movie theater near Market Place Mall and saw just about every movie that came out. There was one day of the week where I had only one short class and that would be my movie day. Sat through tons of garbage, including what I believe to be one of the worst movies ever made; Eye of the Beholder, starring Ashley Judd and Ewan McGregor. It was truly horrible. Bad acting, worse directing, and a plot that was more confusing than a David Lynch piece.

For a sleepover, my buddy's mom drove us to the movie store. She stayed in the car. Somehow we were able to rent Bikini Car Wash, along with a few others. I would say we were 12 or 13. Anyway, get back in the car, and she asks what we rented. My buddy just reads off a few and says "and zucchini car wash." Never even occurred to her that we had a titty movie.

My wife hadn't seen any of the Die Hard movies. She didn't even know who was in them or what they were about. I learned this on New Years Eve and here are 12 days later and she has now seen and loved Die Hard 1 and 2.

She now has more movie cred than you.

I never saw Uncle Buck, but I did meet John Candy at the Mobil station at Deerfield and Sanders while they were filming it. Really nice guy, there was no one there but me and a couple people working on the movie (they were filming next door at the bank), I ended up talking to him about hockey for 20 minutes. Then he gave me an autograph that said "Mike, Keep your head up in the corners . John Candy".

Toe Pick!

I'm a Friday the 13th and Halloween fanboy, if it hasn't been obvious by now. I'm the guy who will buy the same DVD or Blu Ray over and over if the latest rendition has something never before seen.

I saw LOTT the day it came out but never saw another one. Everything else fits me.

I never watched Friends or Seinfeld when they originally aired. I've only seen like 3 episodes of the Chapelle show. I didn't watch the Sopranos. I never saw 300 (even though I bought the bootleg). I never watched Star Trek.

Like the books, they were designed to become more adult-oriented as they went along so the kids reading them as they grew up would have more age-appropriate material to the point that the final movies were adult films, well, not adult films.

The first 2 were really mainly for little kids.
