Freddie ain't going nowhere.

Give him a point guard who plays every game and let this team grow.

It's impossible to build any continuity with Gimpo on the floor.

Noah should be starting. The lack of respect this organization is showing him pisses me off. He wouldn't have had knee issues if he didn't play injured the last 2 months of the 2013-14 season. Now they're screwing him in a contract year.

A national guy was on ESPN this morning with Defalco n said " Noah will have 25 teams offering him 17-20 million a year contract this off season" dude said its the best year ever to be a FA. Cap increase and absolute bums will be getting max deals.

I'm sure he'll get paid (I would be surprised if it was that much) but he is the one guy they should show some respect for. He's given everything he has to this organization.

I agree on this. Taj Gibson is bad and really is a 15 min per game max guy right about now. Noah was playing well prior to this latest injury. He looked like he could go 32 min a game with no problem.

Even on 1 leg the Bulls were better offensively with him in the lineup.

The Bulls are scoring just 101 points per 100 possessions this year, the 10th-worst mark in the league. Last year, with Noah playing in tandem with Pau Gasol up front, they scored 104.7.

Nothing like a rhetorical sleight of hand. You forget that you are the Gibson lover and Noah detractor.

Scheming can only account for so much. Hoiberg is making mistakes though its mostly in his personnel decisions. Its time to put the low scoring, offensive rebound granting Taj Gibson out to pasture. I think they are playing him more to get his trade value up but there aren't going to be any takers for the guy. Ride the contract out sit him on the bench and move on. The days of the lunch pale Bulls need to be retired also.

The stat is troubling but this minutes restriction thing is one of the issues that I didn't have with Thibs. I didn't mind guys playing big minutes. Hoiberg is obviously going out of his way to monitor minutes and its hurting the team. The rotation should be trimmed down to about 9 guys with Gibson and Brooks or Hinrich out. Brooks can score but he is an atrocious defender.

Listening to Mark Schanowski it sounds like the Bulls front office is about to quit on the season. They've finally realized Hoiberg's system doesn't fit this roster. Sounds like everyone but Portis and Butler are available.

I told them about this back in May. Did they not get my voice mails?

You also told us that Taj was playing great last week. I don't think Butler fits his system. I don't that Rose is a good fit either. Hoiberg has to adjust his "system". Great coaches do that. Hell even good coaches make the adjustments. I was critical of Thibs for never making adjustments, thus in an effort to be consistent Hoiberg has to make adjustments also. Its high time that he scrap a few things.

Things to be scrapped:

1. Starting Gibson

2. Starting Mirotic at either the 3 or 4

3. Minutes restrictions

4. Notion that Gasol and Noah cant play together.

5. Rose and Brooks in the same backcourt rotation

6. Butler as a leader. Play basketball and quit pontificating about your need to be a team leader. Also quit holding the ball so got damn long.

7. Playing Gibson at all. Time to abort mission on that.

8. Mirotic and his shot selection. If Mirotic is going to continue launching 25 footers then don't play him. sit his ass down. I know that isn't part of the game plan and if it is, then its a dumbass game plan.

I'm a Thibs guy. That's no secret to anyone. I'm not ready to judge Hoiberg though. My biggest issue with him is he knew he was going to be the coach last January and appears unprepared. I have an issue with management not making changes to get players that fit his system. If they do what Mark Schanowski suggested this will be a lost season without a good draft pick. Someone should be fired for that.

I'm rolling with Hoiberg but there are a couple of the things that are troubling. The not starting Noah thing and allowing Mirotic to continuously make dumb plays has to stop. Mirotic is launching 25-27 foot shots about twice every game. He shoots about 30 percent from three. His shot selection is much worse than Josh Smith's ever was. It's that bad.

Who's left to fire? The team is completely controlled by Jerry and his "family". Everyone left is just a toadie.

Mirotic shouldn't be on the floor. He's taken 10 steps back. None of the Bulls players have improved this year with the exception of Butler. GarPax said Thibs was the problem and clearly he was covering up their roster problems. Hoiberg is in trouble.

He's taken a step back, but he wasn't a good player most of last year either. He's probably not a good NBA player.

I've decided his ceiling is Ersan Illyasova

He was great at the end of last year and the first week of this year.

He was great at the end of last year and the first week of this year.

At his best he was a slightly above average player. He's never touched "great" status.

Bullshit. He was playing at a high level. We all thought he would take the next step. Unfortunately he's taken 10 back.

Look at your thoughts from earlier this year.

I've always recognized and acknowledged his potential. Unlike you, I've never misconstrued that with what he currently is.

Jimmy Butler for player-coach.

He saw Hoiberg about to run this Bulls team into a terrible loss to the 76ers, and he grabbed his buddy E'Twaun and said "no Fred, not tonight."

I got off the Mirotic train once I realized that he only shot 40% from the field last yr. I know this is straight out of Imu's stats inc. playbook, but its still quite telling. For a guy highly regarded as a shooter, that's terrible. He doesn't have the capacity to do anything else, so if he is shooting bad he absolutely kills you.

At least Hoiberg has finally figured out that Snell and Mirotic are horrible.
