Damn, I missed it. I love how this movie functions as an allegory for the failure of various kinds of local authority in the face of multinational corporate power. Good stuff.

Yea, caught the early sat morning showing.

Tommy Lee Jones is great. He's really the star. Ford has like half the dialogue of TLJ

This is Chicago. Is the old bag landlady renting out an illegal basement unit likely to be of Russian descent?

Was that part of the movie shot in RP?

Edit: To answer my own question, no, it was shot on the south side--9000 S. Houston.

I don't think any of it. That's just where you can find lots of Russians.

Yeah, the one-armed man lived Southeast.

The one armed man lived in Pullman. Crazy/great architecture & really quirky townhomes. Unless you're taller than 5'9"

Oddly enough I was just in the three flat that opens US Marshals (with TLJ dressed as a chicken making an arrest) & laughing with the demolition crew that they were working on a former movie set.

My favorite "chicago inconsistency" with the movie is when he went to the Hyatt Regency for the final scenes, but when he entered the "Hyatt" the lobby was actually the lobby at 203 N. LaSalle.

Wasn't it east of Pullman? I remember seeing a St. Lawrence street sign.

St. Lawrence is correct but it is in the heart of Pullman. St. Lawrence runs right past the Hotel Florence toward the old Pullman factory. The bar in that scene as well as the grocery store with the old Coke sign are no longer in business.

A movie I will always watch for a bit when I see it on tv. Some of my family members can be seen marching in the parade scene. This was brought up at every Christmas gathering for about ten years and when the movie first came out we all had to gather around the VHS and watch the scene.

I wasn't sure what hundred St. Lawrence is. For some reason I was thinking it was east of the expressway at 115th.

I found Jane Lynch rather sexy in this movie.

Man, it's been awhile since I've seen it. Who was she in the movie? I don't remember Julianne Moore in it either.

The Fugitive is a very good movie, please don't compare a movie with a plot and dialogue with reel of dogshit mad Max Fury Road.. The first 2 Mad Max (BMovies) were better than number 3.

I love that Pullman area, Love the Architecture and the history..There could be Russians there, I've got a Serbian buddy who lives there and owns another building.

Both Moore and Lynch had minor roles. Moore plays the Cook County Hospital ER doctor who observes Ford reading a patient's chest x-rays, even though he's supposed to be a janitor. Lynch plays one of Ford's former colleagues at Northwestern Memorial or whatever they call it in the movie. She swears Ford is innocent and eventually helps him analyze some tissue samples that help him uncover the Provasic conspiracy. The movie strongly suggests that she's in love with Ford.

But the Russians don't have anything to do with Pullman--that's where the one-armed man lives, not the woman who rents her basement apartment to Ford and has the drug-dealing son.

It's amazing how good the cast for that movie is. Practically everybody in it has star quality.

I don't remember Lynch, I'll have to rewatch. It was a very good movie.. They should have stopped there, I turned the sequal off.
