We'd know about TB's retirement by now, right?

Anyone with insight or informed speculation (close the browser, beardown) on this possibly happening? I can only assume it's not.

And if not now, not sure when. The time between the Super Bowl and their first spring training as WCUB seems like a pretty ideal one for transition and a lineup shake-up.

And have they actually announced they're going to the Super Bowl? I honestly don't listen much, especially live, so I never hear 'big voice guy'. Only reference I've heard is Jason visiting them  , so I assume the trip is still on.

I doubt he retires until CBS asks him to walk away.

Guy is banking 6 figures for 4 hours of "work". That'll be nice inheritance for his children/grandchildren

He talks about some sort of surgery in February.

Maybe Giggles Goff will show up on his own dime.

They've mentioned multiple times they will be out there but not sure what day they report in to media row.

Well that could happen too, though I suppose doing so would make it very unlikely they have a sentimental send-off. Not that I think Terry Boers wants a '85 Bears treatment on his way out but it won't be a non-announcement, right?

Terry probably got advice from the Red Menace to have surgery, then sit on disability for as long as they will let them. Then maybe retire then.

1pm - 6pm = 4 hours ?

I think the four hours of " uh huh, my guy says the same thing" are counted as work, while the two hours of "hmm yep" is technically lunch.

Well, I guess I was wrong about TB being done after SB week. Cuz, yeah, they would have announced it.

So now I'm guessing he's gonna have his surgery and recovery time while he's covered under his CBS benefits. Come back for one last week. Cuz you know Mitch is gonna want to sell "Celebrate Terry week" at an increased rate to the advertisers.

But I do think drinky and Bernstein know the date that of his last day. They'll probably take the SF week to celebrate Terry off the air. Drinky will buy Terry a few lap dances. Bernstein won't go cuz strippers are "Icky" to him. Terry will be saying "Eeeeee eeeeee" during the lap dance, it will scare the stripper and the bouncer will throw drinky and Terry out. Mitch will probably spring for a nice dinner for all of them. Maybe that's why Goff was talking about meeting them there. So he can join in to celebrate his radio Dad. One last party week for the original members of "Team Bernstein". But I haven't heard if he got a ticket and hotel. Probably not once he looked at the rates which have to be HUGE at this late time. He's just a big talker.

I thought he alluded to retiring a couple of weeks ago where when he entertained the dipshit notion that his grade school grandson and his friends were a gifted athletic group that is bound to do special things in his hillbilly hollow.

Of course they are......TRAVEL

Of all the people I know and friends whose kids are great athletes, 1 know who is actively being recruited by numerous colleges.

Funny thing is that his Dad loves the whole process, his mom only let him Punt on the Football team when he was a Freshman, then she let him play TE on Goal Line offenses this year. As Soph, 6'7" you can imagine the recruiters making the calls to the HS and the Coach needs to explain "His mom only allows him to play X plays a game"

Ha, I always meant your quote as genuine! People here really do listen less than ever.

But since I see BRicks wanktacular response now... I guess I don't have to actually say I'm not listening, asking the question is implication I don't listen enough to know the answer. Hope BRick can make those inferences though, he's usually pretty slow.

Just having some fun my friend :D

I rarely get the opportunity to listen due to my work responsibilities and not having a working radio in my vehicle. Replaced the battery a while back and the damn theft lock activated and now the radio won't work.

You've mentioned the podcast description of the show 3 times in the last month. You have 42 posts this month in the B&B section. You are asking questions that only people who actually listen to the show would care about.

But hey, just like you aren't going to read this post, you aren't listening!
