Eh. Pros and cons to being down here, but for the most part I like it. I would like to move back to the Chicago land area at some point, but I do not think that will be happening until all my kids are out of the house.

You need to start setting up the marriage agreements now. Go Indian style on them.

The one in West Chicago is still open.

The Dunkin Donuts breakfast sammiches are pretty good and their hash browns are awesome...just a little too greasy.

I have never had one where the bread wasn't burned, and dried out.

Bolingbrook, Plainfield, and Yorkville still hanging in there...for now.

There's one at the first Dwight exit at the Love's on I-55, but that's a different affiliation AFAIK.

He's kidding, right? The DD chicken breakfast sandwich was literally the worst fast food sandwich I've ever had. I chucked it out the window after two bites.

why would you ever get a chicken sandwich from DD??? That's like going to Dairy Queen and ordering the steak.

Keep it simple at DD, bagel, egg, cheese, bacon. It ain't great, but its surely 100x better than the chicken.

I like the one they do on texas toast...

They had a peppered bacon one on special that was pretty good, too.

Both of these are solid.

Big N Toasted is the texas toast one. Very good. Also as expensive as a good steak.

If you get bacon and sausage on it, the sandwich alone is like $7.

I get bacon only, and the combo is like 7 bucks.

I also don't get this very often...just when I'm hungover.

Either the bacon egg and cheese on the croissant or the big and toasted...that's all I'm talking about. The $1.25 bacon egg and cheese on a tortilla/wrap are decent too.

We are talking fast food here...so nothing is great.

McD's big breakfast is up there if you want to build your own sandwich. I like the sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin using the "egg white delight" which actually seems more like an egg than the regular one.

I still say the best fast food breakfast you can get is from White Castle.

As far as I know its the only fast food place that, when you order a bacon egg and cheese, actually cracks an egg and cooks it to order on the griddle.

If you want to "win' at McD's, here is the cheat code:

Egg white delite, substitute bacon for the canadian ham. Remove one side of the bread and eat open face (if you're trying to cut more calories)

Yes, sir. I just wish they had other bread options than their buns. Besides that, solid sandwiches.

one time they gave me my sandwiches on toast instead of the slider bun...ruined everything, it completely throws off the bread to filling ratio

Yes

I don't understand why they don't offer bacon on one of the english muffin sandwiches...only on the bisquits...it's stupid
