I have to say that I've had a decent weekend so far. Good time out with friends last night and all.

But there is fuckall for sports watching this weekend.

I don't give a flying fuck about the NBA. I'm not interested in college basketball yet. The NHL and NFL are in "all star" mode

I found myself watching curling this afternoon until I discovered old Scooby Doo cartoons on Boomerang.

Worst. Sports. Weekend. Ever.

At least after the Super Bowl, there is regular season hockey to keep me entertained.

I think the Senior Bowl was this afternoon...I caught part of that when we were at lunch at Hooters.

Super Bowl highlights bummed me the fuck out the other day. I made the mistake of starting to rewatch the Bears/Colts game. Fuck Lovie Smith and the Tampa Two.

I've been enjoying SportsBreak '16 very much. There was a Hogs-Wolves game on last night and I just didn't care at all.

I'm not a big fan of the NHL. When I was a kid the fights that would so commonly break out during the games basically turned me off to the sport, and I've never regained much interest since.

Look, I'm sorry, but in a country where the most popular sport is a loosely codified afternoon of freaks beating the shit out of each other, "wah-wah they fight" when they don't look like freaks is just some real candy-ass shit, to say nothing of the fact that fighting has plummeted in the last ten years anyway. Also, "I didn't like fighting as a kid" is dubious, considering that boys of a certain age live for either flailing around like idiots trying to hurt each other or watching other people do the same. I don't care for fighting now, but I wasn't opposed to it on anything remotely resembling the high-minded grounds of today's sports fan. I guess what I'm getting at is that I think you couldn't be more full of shit if you were a portapotty after Bonnaroo.
