Definitely one of the best personalities in all of Chicago sports right now. I don't know if there are a lot of guys who would call back in like that to make sure they were getting the story straight, or to make sure he wasn't being misquoted.

I'm interested in seeing the ratings for Silvy and Waddle for this fall because I find their show very enjoyable....except for Ditka.

Agreed 100%.

Years ago, I couldn't stand Silverman. He's grown on me quite a bit and I now feel that they have the best show on the station, significantly better than MJH in recent months. Separating from Carmen was probably the best thing that ever happened to his career.

The Ditka segment is just awful, though. The guy is never prepared for anything and always falls back on the same dumbass meatball cliches. He brings down the show.

I like the show, but I still prefer Mully and Hanley. Waddle doesn't do much for me and I thought Silvy and Carmen were a better tandem, even though I have a pretty low regard for Carmen's talents.

Silvy and Waddle are quickly becoming my 2nd favorite show (MJH is first)....I haven't listened to Mully and Hanley in months...Mully and Hanley are for fans that want sportstalk and that's it. Silvy and Waddle are for people that wants sports, also mixed with a little humor and definitely pop culture.

Im not a big fan of Silvy. The show is clearly miles ahead of the one before it, but Silvy is just too whiny alot of times. I like Waddle alot though.

Is Silvy whiny or is it you just think his voice sounds whiny? I feel like he gets a bad rap that he's whiny when he really isn't whining about anything.

I didn't listen to the entire show today so I was just wondering if Tillman made it on today. The Waddle & Silvy web page indicated that he was supposed to join them at 10:20. If he was on, did he give a reason for missing last week? Just curious.

That's piss poor but I'd give him a pass in this game shortened week. How hard is it to call in ahead of time and say he can't do Tues but he'll try for Friday.

I didn't hear him this week either. Pretty curious development if you ask me - especially since Tillman has been playing very well the past two weeks.

"Enough was enough"? What kid of shitty excuse is that to bail on a deal you made? I'm sure he didn't need the extra money but it seems really petulant to leave like that without saying anything. If that's true he might be in line for a DB nomination.
