Do you listen to his show? He's awful. Only time I hear them is if I go out to lunch, and it is ALWAYS Goff laughing about something stupid, sucking up to a guest, or talking about his personal life.

At most, I listen from 12-12:15. He does laugh a lot. Sometimes he says funny shit. Not often, but that's still more than any other host at the Score. Like I said, ideally he's like your 8th or 9th best host. As it is though, he's probably their best. I'm quite sure Bernstein isn't any longer.

Although I'd like to, I just can't agree with this. Goff's lack of radio skills and just basic manners is amazing. He yells into the mic, talks over people, laughs constantly, tells inside jokes that his listeners don't understand, talks way too much about personal stuff, and last week he was EATING ON AIR. He was chewing Home Run Inn pizza and talking. You could tell Laurence was a little thrown off by it. Bernstein is a turd, but he's so much more polished at the basics than Goff that I can't say Goff is better.

This is my assessment as well. Once you realize his bad habits it overshadows the whole show.

You woulda hoped going to the minor leagues of Atlanta would've made Goff more professional, instead he came back just as rough and a bit more of a peen.

That's what I was thinking. More like 60k. Think about it. He was fired from CBS radio in Atlanta and it was his first shot as host at the SCORE. HE had no leverage. That was part of the reason he was so appealing to Zimmerman. He was cheap.

They picked up his option. So he's a free agent after next year.

Good god. Love Bernstein or hate him, Goff's simply not in his league. There's literally not a single thing Goff does better. Bernstein may often be a dickbag, but he's competent at his job. Goff isn't even remotely competent. If he was a doctor, he'd have been sued for malpractice and lost his license years ago. It's actually amazing to me that anyone thinks he's in any way a positive. What does he bring to the table that warrants putting up with all the giggling all the time? Not insight, that's for sure. Not novel opinions or takes. Not humor. Not good communication skills. Not interviewing skills. Certainly not reading skills. He's fucking garbage.
