the "kids" were never big into twitter. most millennials-and-younger twitter accounts are abandoned after a flurry of initial tweets of the "kewl, i'm on twitter!" variety.

twitter has always struck me as the most adult-as-in-mature-not-porn of the various social media mediums. journalists, in particular, have made twitter what it is.
