Mike Carey was not wrong, Cotchery made the catch. The call on the field and the idiot that made the call in the booth based on replay got it wrong. Not sure if the booth official thinks he is protecting the on-field guys by upholding their call, but it was a catch as pointed out by the announcers.

Carolina's defense is good but they don't have the WRs to play against a defense as good as Denver's. That said, I wouldn't mind being proven wrong here because I want a good game.

That's silly. 10 points, and it's early. I like Denver's chances based on the start to this game, but Carolina has the ability to make big plays and get turnovers of their own. But if the Denver defense keeps playing as they have so far, the Panthers will have their hands full. But Carolina is a very good team with a top defense of their own. They deserve to be where they are.

As much as they upheld the call and you can say Carey got it wrong based on the booth upholding the call....it was BULLSHIT! They made the wrong call on the field and the booth official made an even worse call in upholding the call. I notice plenty of others have expressed similar thoughts about the call. It was awful.
