i never would've expected it. and at that point if you cancel the event then everyone is pissy.

a no win situation. it appears to be a unfulfilling endeavor to serve an increasingly spoiled group of hobbyists.

They should have list of people who bought tickets. Maybe check IDs? It seems like a simple solution.

i guess so.

it's just fucking beer.

It's Florida. They're a bunch of weird fuckers down there...especially on the Gulf side.

I wouldn't wait in line for thirty minutes to purchase a donut or a hot dog, nor am I a hipster.

If people want to wait thirty minutes for a donut, have at it. I'm not going to do that.

Surely you understand that there is a difference waiting in line for something that is released once per year, and something that is available everyday.

Good people drink good beer. Bad people pretend to like good beer to capitalize on the demand or try to out do one another over what's more rare or more awesome.

So yeah, I rarely wait in any line for the releases or variants. If I come across a great one, I get one.

I stood in line for BCS on Black Friday, 2014 and froze my ass off.....never again will I do that. I managed to find a coffee, barleywine and 3 regulars this past year at one of the local stores. Also, there's so much good stuff out there that it's not really necessary unless you feel like you HAVE TO have the rarest and most hard to find stuff. I found Hoppin' Frog BORIS Imperial Oatmeal Stout, barrel aged at Whole Foods a couple months ago for $10, no line and no hassle.

So.....I would not group ALL Craft Beer Enthusiasts like me, Chus, Boyd, redskingreg all together. I'll give the nomination though to the OVER THE TOP ridiculousness that goes on with some of the trading and problems with releases though.

That seems like a good attitude. If I have a great beer I enjoy it and move on. Searching and waiting nope.

my drinking days are near over. i enjoy a stout here or there but its rare.

That being said, beer snobs are so annoying. I love 50 dollar steaks, but dammit every once in a while a hotdog hits the spot you jackasses.

True, but we're all losers in one way or another.

That is Rome's opinion as well.

He would always say on the show "if I havent ripped into you yet...wait. You'll fall into one of these categories"

I lasted til he tore into cigarette smokers as "the second class citizens that they are"
