For the record, Terry has not lived hard. It is, however, true he is having some health issues. His attitude remains positive though as he recovers.

I've often heard Terry say he was pretty much drunk through the 1970s and 1980s. Those were his 20s and 30s. He once got reflective on the air saying he wasn't much of a father to his first born for the first 5 or 6 years of his life. I think he was sober by the time Mac met him in the 90s.

Plus he was a 300 pounder for a stretch. Bad eating habits also goes under the category of "Living hard".
