Seems like he has a pipeline to Phil Emery then.

Euphemism.

He based his opinion largely on the fact that the JAGUARS (!) appointed him as interim head coach and considered hiring him for that position on a permanent basis.

I like Hub even if he is incorrect on a lot of his points.

With respect to the Bears, he seems a lot of Steve Stone in that his bitterness is evident. In his Daily Herald columns, he just loves (almost gloats) to point out the Bears' mistakes. I bet he is giggling as he grades the performances as an F like that guy from Cocktail.

The PFW brand is back and better than never. I knew Hub could do it.

Then Hub needs to sever his relationship with SCR. He can't be both credible with "Frank, from Oak Park" and then speak to a much broader national (international?) audience. The stat boys of the world will expect a daily dose of irrelevant metrics (ZZ, your table is waiting) while the old skool types will want some relevant insights to the operations of the NF of L. There was a time in my life when Bears Weekly (a PFW) by-product was the needed lifeline in the pre-Interwebs/pre-cable era (yeah, I go that far back), but that change when satellite publication became the way that everybody published.

He's had as much access as anyone, now is the time for him to go forth with his own brand and compete head-up with everyone. I wish him well.

I like Hub as a host.

i guess frank from oak park gets his jollys from preparing and reading his 30 second mully-esqe questions each week... good for him. but if some nutjob is dedicated enough to do all that i'd have to think he would be able to see hub for what he is.... a washed up dinosuar NFL reporter... so then frank from oak park spends all week preparing his questions knowing that the guy he seeks answers from is not a real expert... what does that make frank from oak park
