i was looking for some examples. i'm sure i'll see them when i watch the show but it's kind of the reviewer's job to explain themselves.

I won't watch, but the idea of making Stephanie a DJ and thus DJ Tanner as well, they get a point for that one.

The pilot had to be a train wreck because there is so much cheese that needed to be spread around to so many scene-chewers. For what it intends to be, which is a show that appeals to 7-11 year old white suburban girls, I suspect it still has a chance. Bure's never going to let a show that she leads get too far off that track, because her religious beliefs won't allow her to let it.

It's an easy show for them to do, they can pretty much recycle the original scripts and update them for today's technological world, and they can probably knock off 12 episodes a year in a two week party and get back to their lives with some nice spending money.

I watched the first episode. When this scene happened, I was reminded of how little anyone cared about realism back then.


Stephanie says "its time to rock out like its the late 80s..." and then they play the song for 30 seconds, dance to it, then the song goes off and everyone is done. Good stuff.
