Rodney knows the Cub as well as anyone. Perhaps, he secretly thinks they'll win 98.

A lot of those wagers were convoluted. You want to set the O/U at 97?

The mets fans were responding to a playoff game with that sign.

You still remember the playoffs,Mr. Pale Hose?

Of course. The mighty Cubs lost 4-0.

I was referring to the Sox. They also are paid to get to the playoffs.

Don't worry about the White Sox. Just enjoy the multiple World Series in your immediate future.

It seems no one worries about the Sock...the fans, the media, ownership...

Thank god you've got the Cub.

Plenty of CSFMBers who call themselves Cubs fans certainly seem to worry about the Sox.

Just like there was zero (0) percent chance they were making the playoffs last year.

Yeah, I remember some dope saying that last year as they were fighting for the wildcard.

Frank constantly makes this argument when there is mounds of evidence to the contrary.

The "view active topics" page currently has 4 Cubs section threads started by Sox fans and 1 Sox thread started by a Cub fan (me) which I created to highlight the fact that all Sox fans do is talk about the Cubs.

Stop throwing facts at Franklin and his CSFMB Cub/Sock baseball blankie.

The only mound here is the shit you keep posting, Leash.

On the first page of the Sox section, there are 20 threads started by Cubs fans. 2 of them are legit news stories by Peoria Matt, but the notion the Cubs fans don't worry about the Sox is just wrong. Both teams fans post about the other team....a lot.

You need to stop leading off your rebuttals with these vulgarities. It's unbecoming.

Different motives, though. We are honestly just trying to make sure that section has a monthly thread. #goodpeople

I was legitimately worried last year, that team kind of had the mark of something special. I was making plans to get way out of town, initially it was gonna be just a few days in Milwaukee but I was ready to cross the country to get as far away from it as possible.

I'm not that worried anymore. The Cubs lost their spark and with everyone telling them their shit doesn't stink they wont get it back, maybe a couple playoff runs but they'll never have that sneaking sense of "oh this better not as inevitable as it feels" again. Maybe if they didn't play that Mets team and the temperature stayed above 50.
