Waiting for the time when I can finally say
That this has all been wonderful, but now I'm on my way

Saw about 15 minutes total of the show. Dave Grohl doing "Blackbird" for those that have passed was nice and very well done. Louis C.K. was pretty funny on introducing the Best Short Film Documentary. Louis C.K. has become one of my favorite comedians, but I guess that's another topic altogether. Saw what's his name for the Tom Hanks movie get his for Best Supporting Actor. Even though I didn't see that film, it seemed like he genuinely felt a tremendous amount of pride, yet congratulated all the nominees and those who didn't even get nominated. Seems like a good dude.

I heard after watching The Walking Dead that Leo one.....good for him. Other than that, I find the Oscars to be Channel Flip Worthy.

there wasn't much else on so we turned it on and watched about 20 minutes of it. caught the end of rock (meh) and watched the same movies nominated for everything over and over and over again. set designer, graphic design, etc etc etc. after 20 minutes my wife is like, how on earth can anyone watch this? i agreed and we turned it to something else.

i tried.

No interest in watching. Even if I did, it was a Sunday night. That means Walking Dead and I believe, Lauren Cohan on Talking Dead.

Hmmm - touch choices.

But don't let it bother you too much. Just keep in mind that many of these people spouting whatever nonsense opinion they may have are high school dropouts and get paid to play make believe.
