Good movie with very good acting. Surprisingly funny in a lot of parts. Despite all the effort to dumb down what the banks did to create
the mortgage meltdown my wife and I still had a bit of a hard time understanding it all in much detail. Definitely worth seeing, but maybe not
at the theater. I'd say that Gosling, Bale and Carell were all excellent.

Loved the movie. It is meant to and does leave you pissed off at the end.

Financial guys, is this an accurate depiction of what occurred and the industry in general?

I thought the cut ins with featuring famous people not known for their financial expertise explaining terms and concepts was a brilliant way to handle the situation. It would have been even better if it was people who had felt financial hardship due to the crisis but I'm more than happy to have Margot Robbey speak to me from a bathtub anytime she wants
