games won in league championship series by Sox in 2015: 0

Sox had a slightly more successful season than the Cubs when it comes to hardware (team awards matter much more than individual honors) and both found roughly the same measure of playoff success. The Cubs held a lead at any point in the NLCS for only a couple innings more than the Sox in the ALCS.

These are facts, Steve. I'm sorry if they bother you.

So we are to forget the 97 wins the Cubs put together in the regular season....the postseason victories over both the Pirates and Cardinals, who were the only 2 teams with a better regular season (by just 1 & 3 games respectively) records than the Cubs 97 wins? Also, the Sox didn't qualify for the Wildcard, much less an ALDS, much less the ALCS, so you can't compare the team's respective results in league championship series'. No, your "facts" don't bother me and I would still throw that cup in the Chicago River if I were Theo and the Cubs win it this season. A win VS the Sox means no more than a win against any other team and less than a win against the Cardinals and Pirates, who are the Cubs real competition.
