Did. Not. Happen.

Nobody intentionally smokes seeds.

Chase was on fire from the late 70s into the 80s

Murray has been finishing stronger.

Seems Like Old Times is probably the best movie Chase ever made.

And that would rank about 7th on the Murray list.

Murray has become quite the artiste in his old age. In addition to the Wes Anderson movies he played FDR in an HBO movie and did it better than the master thespian Kenneth Branagh. He's come a long way since that Hunter Thompson movie.

Probably not, considering Murray replaced Chase who bolted after the 1st season.

I cant believe it took this long to name Kingpin. Shame on all of us.

BTW, I was gonna defend Christmas Vacation as a good Chase movie, but he's really just there. The hilarious parts of that movie are the extended family.

Since the 90's everything Chase has done is shorts, appearances, cameos and crap. Very little content to even be judged....

Not even in Murrays class at this time

I will give you Murray was pretty good as the gardener in Caddy Shack.

Last movie I laughed at was Borat. Although that was last comedy I have seen.

To add to the Murray landslide in this thread

I could see Murray doing everything Chase did (Vacation, Fletch, Funny Farm etc)

Chase could never be Big Ern McCraken, Grimm, Dr. Venkman, Frank Cross, or Bill Murray (as himself)

Bill Murray's son is an asst. coach at Xavier, oddly enough. DePaul will hire him in 2019 and bring Daddy on as an Asst./ Mascot, and the masses will flock to the new arena. You heard it hear first.

the life aquatic is pretty awesome. Murray's character at least. I liked what Chase did in Community. Even if part of it was Dan Harmon basically writing Pierce as a knock against an aging Chase. The majority of his bewilderment, old man gaffes were hysterical.

Just knew CH would be a SCTV guy.

2 scenes in Caddyshack with Murray "18th hole at Augusta" and "Looping for the Dali Lama" both 1 take, nothing but a camera and Russel Zisky, pre talent on display, natural funny, witty and better than anything Flaherty, Martin and Levy ever did...Candy on the other hand had the same natural abilties to make common stuff funny, like Murray...Flaherty, Levy....sidekicks...comeon man

In 8th/9th grade, NBC ran SCTV reruns after Conan. Now and then I'd get away with watching it and I was hooked. I was also watching Upright Citizens Brigade and Kids in the Hall on Comedy Central at the time, so it was inevitable.

Kids in th Hall was one of the worst things I have ever seen, yet to this day, somehow that weird niche of guys playing girls/teenage girls appeals to a few media execs and shows always seem to pop for a few weeks until someone that cares about how much money they make says "WTF" shut that crap down.
