that was an enjoyable game to watch. GS scored 74 points in the first half. the bulls have trouble hitting 74 after 3 qtrs. It re-affirmed the obvious that the bulls literally have zero chance to win a title because there is no way the bulls can beat either of those teams 4 out of 7 games. Not going to waste my time watching the bull... thus begins the 3 month sports lull until playoff hockey

This Spurs Kings game should be good.

Rondo with the most apg in a season in the past two decades so far at 11.9. Eat shit, vegan.

GS is definitively more talented than OKC. Get real, ltg.

Barkley just said that OKC is as talented. Kenny Smith just said they are more talented. It is obvious there is really little to no disparity from a talent standpoint.

It's obvious there's a pretty big talent disparity, actually. Thunder wouldn't be 13 games worse this season if there wasn't. Love Barkley but he's been consistently wrong about the Warriors. If you combined both teams Golden State would have the best player and 7 of the top 10 players.

Yes, they would. But feel free to argue that OKC has good depth. Because they literally have one of the thinnest teams in the NBA. Their bench is one of the worst benches in he league. Bottom 2 or 3 I believe out of playoff teams.

For the record Curry ducked the Westbrook cover. If a guy is going to be regarded as the best player shouldn't he at least guard his position?

No. He's not the coach. If someone is going to be the best player they have to make the most overall positive impact on their team. That's Steph Curry this year.

Foye Barbosa is a wash. I'm a Livingston fan take him over Waiters. Kanter is better than MO Speights. Green Better than Ibaka. Adams vs Bogus pickem at this point. Durant big advantage over Barnes. Thompson big edge over Robertson. Curry slight edge over Westbrook. Not the definitive advantage you proclaim.

Bogut is a lot better than Adams still. You didn't even mention Iggy, who is one of the Warriors five best players. If there wasn't a significant talent disparity there wouldn't be a significant record disparity. If both teams only were allowed to play their starting lineups and nobody else OKC would be pretty equal. When you include 12 man rosters GS destroys them.

Edit: Speights is a better player than Kanter.

They hide him on defense. If he is going to be the best this or that then he should not be guarding Robertson. His cover is Westbrook. He is a terrible defender. I don't really care what some silly metric says. He hides too much. It doesn't hurt the team because they have about 4 elite defenders that can compensate for his lack of defensive ability.

It's not about whether it helps the team win or not. I'm talking about this all time great stuff that is beginning to creep into the conversation. He ducks too much on defense too much to be in that conversation.

The "ducking" thing is almost trying to make it personal and just silly. Again, he's not the coach. It's fine to criticize his defense because he isn't a good defensive player. But you're wrong about your conclusion. Wilt, Magic, and Bird were not good defensive players and are all time great players.

Honestly I forgot iggy. Kanter is a much better player than Speights. Speights is a journeyman that happens to play on a good team. I know the real MO Speights. I might even take Waiters over Livingston because of his scoring ability.

No you had the Livingston thing right. Waiters is a worse version of Ricky Davis.

I was wrong about Speights. He's always one of those guys I think is better than he is when I see him. But Kanter isn't good and has one of the worst contracts in the league.

Magic couldn't guard his position because he wasn't quick enough. Bird guarded his position. I'm sure Wilt did also. He doesn't even attempt it.

I constantly hear guys like you bash Carmelo Anthony for his defense. Carmelo Anthony takes the cover each and every time. If you don't think star players can dictate who they want to check then you don't know the NBA.

Kanter is better than MO Speights. He actually should probably be starting. He is a very good offensive player. OKC doesn't play a style that will ultimately win. Durant and Westbrook have to become moreso players and not just talents.

Mavs lost Deron Williams to injury and have reeled off 6 straight wins, going for 7 in a row today.

Playing good defense, holding teams under 90 points during this win streak. They'll likely end up the 7 seed and play Spurs first round. But if they were the 8th seed, could get revenge for 2007.
