Who wins and how does it play out? What's the most interesting matchup?

I was almost ready to attack you until I realized it was a Cubs fan.

Bulls in 5. The 90's were better.

Pippen glues himself to Steph starting at the half court line.
Jordan scores 40 a game in the series
Rodman appears on The View during the series

'90's NBA rules or present day rules?

Warriors would not be able to run that offense in the 90's and the Bulls would not be able to run their defense today.

Warriors win with present NBA rules and Bulls win if they played in the 90's.

Warriors win the first one and Curry dances around. Jordan has a fire in his belly for the rest of the series and the Bulls dont lose another one.

Rodman would made Draymond cry.

I think the best Bulls team was 1991-92.

 Agreed. Jordan might go off for 100 if Curry does his dance.

Jordan was in his prime, but Scottie wasn't as good yet and they didn't have nearly the depth, length, or Rodman.

The '96 team was fuckin' deep.

Harper, Kukoc, Kerr, Longley (welcome, BF), Buechler, even Randy Brown could play some hella D.

Didn't they have Bison Dele that year too?

The '92 team was deep too. Paxson, Armstrong, Levingston, Hopson, Williams, King, Hansen, Perdue. Just a bunch of solid back-up guys. I think they even had Chuck Nevitt for a minute.

True, Pippen hadn't reached his peak yet, but they were better at center with Cartwright. They were better on the offensive end with Grant. And yeah, Jordan was at his absolute best. And Jordan was the Bulls.

yes, Scottie would stick Steph....but who is going to stick Scottie?

My guy Luc does a 14 12 on them..and Kukoc just wouldnt get the ball passed to him enough to drop 30.

All the double teaming on MJ as well....Kerr drops 15 as well.

TRIANGLE works well when you have legends playing. Also makes for a great 3 point shooter when nobody guards you.

Agreed on Grant. Personally, I'd still take the 96ers with a slightly past prime Jordan.

Also, Kukoc doesn't often get remembered, but he was huge on that team. Think about what an advantage it was in '96 to have a guy that talented leading the 2nd team offense. He was also pretty unique back then since it was before stretch 4's became a dime a dozen.

Paxson - great floor and team leader, intangibles worth something, very players in any sport REALLY have that.
Armstrong - Average player at best, fact...UNTRADEABLE after his "All Star" year, should tell you something about how the league felt about him
Levingston - Great to have for the fourth quarter. A Jerry deal from the closeout section.
Hopson - Nothing
Williams - GREAT VALUE, busted his ass working in the paint, underrated time with Bulls.
King - Terrible. Shot from his chest, block city for a 6'10 guy
Hansen - Best 7:30 in Bulls history outside Jordan
Perdue - Made the best of what he had. No complaints.

I don't know about that. That was always the Achilles heel of those Bulls teams. Quick little guards gave them fits.

I fucking hated B.J., even as a kid, and partially because he went to Iowa. But he did redeem himself when he hit that 3 from the corner against the Knicks in '93.

The game is virtually unrecognizable from 20 years ago. I don't even know how to compare them. My first inclination is that GS wouldn't be able to get a shot off.

I think the game being different is overstated. It's changed a lot because most teams have at least 4 guys on the floor at one time who can shoot and shoot very well. Because of this, much of the offense is generated solely from the perimeter, so it looks different, but that's not to say that - with the correct personnel - another team couldn't be successful running a triple-post offense or an offense that begins down low. There just isn't that type of talent in today's game, and you would of course run the risk of not being able to defend these smaller, quicker teams with the matchup issues it would create.

I think both teams would struggle to defend the other in this matchup, even though both are excellent defensive teams.

This outside shooting business is crazy. Where do they grow these guys?

They selectively breed former players like Dell Curry. Can you imagine what Lebron's kids will be like? OMG, those bodies...

More or less this is correct. Although I suspect that the Bulls would thrive better out of their 'element' on the offensive end of the floor than the Warriors would thrive on the defensive end. And if worse came to worse, Rodman would just Rock Bottom Curry and that would be that.
