I still get a feeling they can be taken. Cleveland gave them a tougher run than it would appear. Memphis also gave them a run. I wanted the Clippers and not the Rockets to play them last season.

I think the lack of a post game may be their undoing. You can game plan for their jump shot game during the playoffs. There are legitimately 3 teams that can beat them. S.A. OKC and the Clippers. S.A. has the best chance followed by OKC then the Clippers.

It is going to be a dogfight from the semis on no matter who they play. They will have a tougher road than they had last season. That's for sure.

They are a lot better than they were last year. Every statisitical marker shows that. Steph and Draymond Green are a lot better. Klay is better. That was their first deep run in the postseason. It's flawed to look at last year's postseason run and project that on to this team.

SA can beat them. OKC has a very small chance, and probably no chance at all. Clippers have no chance. Cavs have no chance.

The Spurs are better and so is OKC. G.S. is playing better but they have exactly the same roster. They don't have any sort of low post game and I'm from the school where jump shots start missing on tired legs. They are not the most talented team though they have the best player. It's going to be interesting once the playoffs start.

No offense, but it doesnt matter what school you're from. GS is revolutionizing the game. And they are easily the most talented team in the NBA. Nobody else including OKC is close. OKC doesn't have the firepower to keep up with Golden State whenever Durant and Westbrook sit. SA is easily the best coached team in the league. They are not the most talented.

I think SA can beat them, and it's fair to say that they will lose in the playoffs, but it sounds silly to say their style of play will be their undoing, considering what that style of play has accomplished in the past 12 months.

I actually watched the playoffs. I didn't merely check for results. I saw them scuffle against Memphis and a Cleveland team missing 2 of its three best players. They ran through the regular season last yr also. You may think they are a juggernaut I dont. They are a very good team that has a great offensive player leading them. They can be had. I'm not really a detractor as much as I'm a guy that sees a team with one hall of famer on it. They are not pound for pound better than OKC or S.A. Cleveland either for that matter.

You're talking to someone who watched every game you did in the playoffs, so that's not worth mentioning. You may feel that they are not more talented than OKC or Cleveland, but you have put forth zero evidence supporting that assertion. They are a better and more complete team than everyone else in the league, and San Antonio is the only team that is close. You think a post game can beat them, yet don't seem to realize Draymond destroys every post player he goes up agaist, including Blake and DeAndre.

Think about what you are really saying, So n so gave em a game..but lost, Every game they play this season ..all 82 they get the opposing teams best effort, they the champs n on a historic run that everybody wanna stop but can't..In a series Nobody is beating them this year..the Spurs will come the closest n maybe win 2 games in a series. This team would sweep the Cavs if the refs called it fairly.

DeAndre Jordan not really a post. Im a Green fan but he doesn't destroy Griffin. L.A. biggest issue was wings and Jeff Green should help there. Matt Barnes killed them last yr.

Memphis hurt them with their inside game last season. Slowed the game down and pounded them inside. S.A. has skilled bigs and a coach that knows how to exploit matchups. They are only 4 or 5 games behind G.S. now as much as it seems that G.S. is running away with it.

They are the favorite but those teams have more than a punchers chance to win.

Don't know about. I'm not a Cleveland fan. LeBron James probably has won his last championship. They are not better than any of the top 4 teams in the West. They may have more talent than any of those teams but their style of play is probably worse than OKC's.

You're wrong about Blake and Green. Draymond dominates both of those guys when they play the Clippers. He can get DeAndre out of the post and stretch when he's on offense, and doesn't allow a lot inside on the other end.

Memphis with Marc Gasol was a tough matchup, but even that series didn't go past six games. Marc Gasol presents unique matchup problems that nobody else in the league really does for them though, with his size and skill set. Also, Tony Allen was crushing Klay Thompson for the majority of that series. Again, Klay Steph and Green are all considerably better than last year, so I don't know why you keep trying to equate the two. Last year's Warriors team was a really good team. This Warriors team has a legitimate claim to the best team of all time if they break the Bulls record and win the title.

I'm watching them go at Curry with Waiters. They are doubling Waiters. They also have moved him off Westbrook. This is the best way to slow him down. If you allow him to rest on defense he is going to kill you on offense. During the playoffs the games become about matchups. You can't play non offensive players against G.S. that is what turned the series against Memphis around.

I don't see much difference between he and Brooks in terms of changing their offense. Still allows Westbrook and Durant to isolate too much. They still don't trust teammates enough, particularly in crunch time. Their defense is not stingy either. The true test for Donovan will be the playoffs. Can he make adjustments. That's where coaches make their hay in the NBA. I don't think he is bad, but it's still early.

At least they gave him great assistant coaches (they're out because of death and surgery now) so he can learn on the job instead of high school coaches.

Iggy's old but you're right. Again, I said they would break the record on December 1st. I quickly changed my tune. I agree with you this is a legendary team along the lines of the 86 Celtics, 96 Bulls, and 01 Lakers.

Don't make a jerk out of me, just don't do it... just don't do it. Now I want to talk to you about JimmyPasta, you have to watch out for him. He's a good poster but he's wild, takes too many chances.

I haven't been watching much but I know Scott told his guards to pick Curry up at half court. Has that had an effect on him today?

That's a bit of an oversimplification. They've been trapping him quite a bit, but mostly, he and Thompson haven't shot well at all.

It was a question more so than it was a statement. Tired legs tend to lead to missed jump shots though. I don't know if it happened in this case but it may have had something to do with it. I don't know if Scott had his players follow up on this but it will be interesting to see if other coaches try and employ this strategy going forward.

Spurs are only 2.5 games back

If they don't peel off 8 or 9 straight wins they ain't gonna get 72. Still have 3 against Spurs and 2 of them in San Antonio, where Spurs are undefeated.

Saw some crazy stat that said the Bulls lost the 61st game of the year in a blow out to the Knicks. The Warriors lost the 61st game in a blow out to the Lakers.
