Agreed, kids in the hall was one of the worst skits I've ever seen..just awful.

There was more to the show than dressing in drag. I mean, I won't say that every sketch worked, because this has never happened in the history of sketch comedy, but when they were on, they were hilarious. Anything with Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald together seems to be good. I think the two of them went the farthest back together.

The dressing in drag part just added to an annoyance only equal to Leary talking about race in sports and having a super high IQ roundtable to resolve it durng a 38 minute show.

The 34 year old men talking in high pitched voices with old english accents added to NOT FUNNY.

IMDB'd the 3 main guys from Kids in the Hall and not 1 of them has done anything more than short movies, and bit roles, voices etc ......

That pretty much sums up what that show meant to me and most of Hollywood .

Turrible

Scott Thompson carved out a decent career for himself, despite being -- in my opinion -- the weak link of the troupe. Dave Foley had NewsRadio and then his whole life went to shit, but considering other people on that show were Phil Hartman and Andy Dick, he could have done worse. I don't hold it against them that their solo careers weren't very impressive. Lots of terribly unfunny SNL people go on to have prolific careers in spite of themselves. It is what it is.

the life aquatic is pretty awesome. Murray's character at least. I liked what Chase did in Community. Even if part of it was Dan Harmon basically writing Pierce as a knock against an aging Chase. The majority of his bewilderment, old man gaffes were hysterical.

He was alright on Community. But to be honest, the character was kind of unnecessary.

I think it's close. They're both good in Caddyshack. Chase has the Vacation movies, Fletch, the three amigos. He also played a racist on L&O, which was unintentionally funny, especially if you pretended that he didn't know he was doing a TV show.

Murray has Meatballs, Stripes, the Ghostbuster movies, Scrooged & Where the Buffalo Roam (which I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned). Both of them were good on SNL.
