Also, The Doors in Miami 1969. Just to see how realistic the movie portrays the events of that debacle of a show.

The Jam at Old Chicago circa 1980 (for you youngsters out there, Old Chicago was a themed shopping mall/indoor amusement park in Bolingbrook). My friend wanted to go but I had to work at Jewel. I've never heard the end of it.

Fixed for Chicago slang accuracy.

Every time I'm out there I find myself wondering exactly where Old Chicago's site was/is. I remember it being not far from the expressway, but in the middle of nowhere.

The rest of the lineup was MEH to me, but Id go for those two

Not a fan of...

Grateful Dead
CCR
Janis Joplin
Sly and the Family Stone
Jefferson Airplane
Joe Cocker
Ten Years After (possibly the best performance IMO)
Johnny Winter
Blood Sweat and Tears
Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young

Some of them are fine, I just meant those are the two main reasons I listed Woodstock

Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Sly and Joe Cocker are all in my collection. CCR is fine but they were ruined for me by early overexposure.

Seems like it was where the auto auction place currently sits...but I wouldn't swear to it.

Great one. I think that was when they had Clash of the Titans at Tinley, right? One of the best shows I've ever seen. Lucked out on 10th row, front and center with a scalper with my buddies. It was Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax. At one point Dave got a little dangerous and was enticing the crowd to rush to the front.....not a good idea in that venue. That really never happened, but it got the crowd excited and rowdy. One of my friends caught one of the sticks from one of the drummers....I think it was Dave Lombardo's. Great freakin' show!!!! 1991, I belieive.

Having watched too many walk of life movies, I think Dire Straits would be a pretty good one. But really I have about 30 bands.
