Wow. That was pretty intense. It escalated quickly. Drinky telling Dan to "Be a real person just one time" after Bernstein ridiculed a caller for saying he cries when he sees his kids get shots. Then he called Bernstein the biggest "moron" at the station. Dumber than the callers.

Anyway, you could feel the hate that drinky has for Dan. Every now and then drinky has to get it off his chest. I think we all understand.

While I didn't understand why this was the battle drinky chose, why this set him off, I still appreciate the rage. You could feel it. He was really angry. So, way to go drinky!!!

After hearing it a 2nd time, I now know what set drinky off. The guy simply said he cries when his kids got there shots because his kids are crying. Then Dan and Terry do there thing where they team up to act like they don't get what the caller was saying and proceed to mock him. That's what pissed off drinky the most. Then he went on to say other stuff. Then Dan dismissed drinky and proceeded to mock the caller more.

Wow, thank was kinda funny.


So, we have Shep vs Meat pants, and now Drinky vs Beirnsy.

I listened, come on, thats nothing.

That didnt even touch on Drinky's real hate of Bernstein.

I heard this today. Drinky did seem pretty pissed. You don't say, on air, "Jesus Christ, Dan!" twice if your not kinda pissed.

There are a lot of times Drinky fights with Dan. But most of the time he's just being a goof, trying to annoy Dan like a kid would do, or just being a jack ass. Not this time. You could hear it in his voice on this one. It was genuine anger and hate.

We've heard a few of these genuine blow ups towards Bernstein by drinky. He's mellowed more in recent years cuz I don't think he gives a shit anymore. I mean about the show or radio in general. No longer thinks he can get his own show. Just wants to show up, answer Bernstein's phone and go home to his Xfinity cable and awesome mattress. Mitch has thrown him endorsements on the station to where he doesn't even have to do double duty with night or weekend shows. Those spots probably equal doing two or three night shows a week. Something the other producers at the station don't get. Probably cuz drinky is the oldest producer there is why he gets these endorsements. That's what I'm guessing.

But these blow ups do show pent up frustration for his boss. I know drinky hates when people call Bernstein his boss. I remember he once emphatically told this board that Bernstein is not his boss. Technically he's not, but he pretty much is.

The point that was missed was when a baby is 1, they are generally happy, smiling. When they get a shot, there is an initial look of disbelief that someone would intentionally inflict pain on them. Then they are sad.

Welcome to the real world.

If they really wanted to drive Drinky nuts, have a little more chatter with big fat red during updates, which they are doing more and more.

I think Drinky has been with Bernstein over a decade. Maybe it's time to do a swap. Trade drinky to "Goff & Spiegel" for either Zawaski or Shepkowski. I know drinky hates Spiegel, but I actually think he hates Bernsetin more. Plus he could go back to his buddy Goff. Then again, it might sting drinky a little bit that Goff would be his boss since they came in together and Goff has advanced. Drinky thought he had a shot at the midday show. Plus I think drinky is like 10 years older than Goff. But there is no perfect scenario. Drinky going to middays would be the greater good. Ten years with Bernstein is enough. He needs to leave him for his own sanity.

Rogers Park Bryan is correct. Some day it will really go off. Drinky might kill Bernstein one day. We've seen drinky's Italian temper. It could reach that point.

Mitch needs to be proactive before that happens. He needs to read this volatile situation for what it is. If drinky kills Bernstein, Bernstein's blood will be on Mitch's hands. And, ya know, drinky's as well, obviously. Since he's the one that killed him. But Mitch should care. Because Bernstein's wife will have REALLY SMART LAWYERS that will find him liable for the death.
