is too left handed. Need some balance, especially considering you're looking at 17 games against Miguel Cabrera, and the Royals lineup is really well balanced.

The lineup will be fine. The bullpen won't be as terrible as last year, but god damn, I think this team needs another right handed starter (replacing Danks)

I'm a believer in balance in the rotation. A decent right handed starter in place of Danks is just what the doctor ordered.

Assuming Rodon earns the right to stay in the #3 spot, I really don't see how the #4 pitcher (or 5) will factor in that much. The #4 guy isn't really counted on for much more than what 150-170 innings and at best 10-12 wins? That he is a right hander I just don't see being much of an issue in any series.

If not, I hope it can be minimized at least until Fulmer gets here.

There has to be more to the Eric Johnson story than we're being told. He did more than enough last year to earn that 5th starter spot and at the very least serious consideration but they just handed it to that shit fuck Matt Latos though he's trying his best to give it back. Johnson must not be doing something they want him to do. Maybe he's not doing their strength and conditioning program or he's not making the mechanical adjustments they want but there has to be something that made him a non-factor for that job.

The Sox should be a more competitive team this season. Lots of doubts about that rotation though. They would be better with a real manager but we all have learned that that does not matter. So that being said 82-80 is my pick for this squad.

This is what I thought. They pretty much gave the job to Latos when, in my opinion, Johnson earned it last year. He did kind of piss it away during ST but that is not how you develop a player.
