6 guys who will bat left handed for the Cubs. Ironically, Soler actually hits right handed hitters better than lefties, yet will have to sit tonight, with no DH and Schwarber not behind the plate. When Schwarber catches Hammel tomorrow, I expect Soler will play in LF. But you never know, Maddon might get crazy and decide to take one more look at Szczur before they have to decide who to send down if they decide to call Baez up on Saturday. Really looking forward to seeing Lackey pitch tonight. He's getting a good test against a tough offensive club in Arizona. Should be a great series.

Schwarber was a risk to himself and others playing the field. Theo and Maddon killed that kid's career trying to "maximize value"

Soriano was incredible for most of the 2007 season, then shit the bed in the playoffs. 2008 was streaky. I'd take Schwarber with bad LF play over Soriano, but at the end of the day, both are DH whether you like it or not.
