What a play. Nick Ahmed is the best defensive SS in baseball.

Not really. Schwarber just has an ankle sprain, the undefeated Cubs are winning again tonight and all his posts are meaningless blather.

Didn't know Hawk Harrelson was a board member.

It was a great gamble that worked out. I'd say it was pretty heads up. Catcher is laying on his back and isn't known for his arm.

Agreed, it was heads-up base running. That's something a Sox fan would know nothing about.

I remember when Drabek was touted as one of the up and coming phenoms. Doesn't seem to have great stuff these days.

Szczur continues to make a case for remaining on the roster..... With Schwarber perhaps taking a 15 day stint on the DL, it might put off any tough decisions anytime soon.

Haven't seen the Schwarber collision yet, but going to guess it could have been avoided. Having a catcher/DH playing LF daily probably isn't the smartest thing. Must not be good for Soler that he didn't get the assignment in LF after the injury.

Yes, could have definitely been avoided; though, I think he had a better chance at the ball than Fowler. Fowler actually went head first into Schwarber's crotch, which should give you a visual of how far off he was from a catch.

Even with the two pop-up outs here, great at-bats to get there.

They make the opposing pitchers work. At least they added 1 run to make the lead a bit more comfortable.

All this game showed is that its going to be a little harder than we expected for the Cubs to go 162-0, but most likely its still attainable.

We really don't know who's fault it is just from watching it. Probably was just no communication between the two leading up to the collision.
