I'm not exactly sure about how the ticket revenues work. I believe the City still receives ticket revenues. I know City employees write them. I'm not sure if LAZ can write their own tickets. But what I know for sure is that LAZ can and does submit a bill to the City for any sports that are taken out of service. For example, when there is no parking on a metered street for a Cub game or a marathon, the City has to pay the estimated revenue that would have come from those spaces. I assume the same can be said for any spaces taken up by the realtor passes.
LAZ doesnt write any tickets. Have parked in spots while the are changing out machines and I asked, "do I dont have to pay" and the guy said correct.
Thus the LAZ crew doesnt write the tickets, so the City ticket guys are calling LAZ and saying "hey, I found some money for you?"
I think LAz only cares about some areas of massive revenue. Downtown, gold coast, etc.
Would like to know the real connection between the tickets and the LAZ revenue, unless LAZ gets a share of the ticket? and the city keeps the rest?
But I HIGHLY doubt any money iscoming from the city to LAZ for the Brokers passes. Its a deal cut on a much higher level and something else will be given to someone connected to LAZ which is owned by Alan B. Lazowski, who started LAZ and is on leave for FEDERAL BRIBERY CHARGES. There ya go
