Except for the fact the players have to walk a block from the dugout to get to it, it looks pretty cool:

Hell, the Cubs old weight room was smaller than the ones you see at any random hotel.

People aren't talking much about it, but it also means more room for the rats. They also had to suffer with the small clubhouse for years. Let's not forget the rats!!!!!

Hopefully help the Cubs deal with the "day game stigma" they had.

looks a lot like UW's camp randell clubhouse. theyve been redoing that this last decade... the new training facility underneath the practice field looks just like these photos. its really amazing.

The locker room picture of the old one, actually makes it look bigger than it was. Was smaller than most HS locker rooms.

Have they remodeled the opposing team's clubhouse? Or are they going to do so?

I say they shouldn't. Wouldn't you want to have the other team continue to suffer with cramped space? That would be to the Cubs advantage.

Wouldn't shock me if this group tried, but I'm sure the MLBPA would have a problem with it

But what could MLBPA do? It's Ricket's stadium. MLBPA can't force him to spend money to remodel the other teams clubhouse.

They could just paint the opposing locker room pink like those cheatin' bastards at Iowa.
