Kind of weird. This is year 101 of the Cubs at Wrigley. Yet because it was 1916 and this is 2016 they wear the special patch on their sleeve. Should have been done last year.

Cubs are the first to do a special anniversary symbol or patch when the years celebrated ends in a "1"

But whatever.

I think you forgot the part where you ask if this is somehow racist.

Maybe because Ernie Banks died right before the season that took up the right sleeve patch space so they couldn't do it last year. But you could have doubled patched it.

Me either. You should celebrate the full 108 years.

Bulls had a patch for 50 years of existence this year. Most teams do 25, 50, 75 and 100. For obvious reasons. Those are the numbers you do.

Just saying the Cubs are the first to celebrate 101.

They're REALLY SMART PEOPLE AT THE CUBS. So what do I know?

Ok. I'm done.

There is going to be plenty to celebrate this year and in many years to come, as the Cubs dominate the Baseball scene and fans bask in the glory of it all. Sox fans will soon be out of any barbs to throw around, as the team wins championships and is a contender year in/ year out for many years to come.

Steve's poor grasp of the English language just tricked him into writing that the White Sox would win championships (plural!) and contend every season for years to come.

You're an admitted thief/fraud. I'd take a racist over that. At least Steve doesn't cheat people and employers out of actual funds.

If you don't want people to call you a cheat or thief or a fraud don't brag about doing those things.

Thanks for the life lesson gramps, I'll remember that while I'm slaving to pay your social security. Get out of here with this bullshit, like our entire economy doesn't revolve around cheats and thievery. Aren't you a union plumber? You probably benefit from more graft and swindling in a week than I have in my entire life.

I'm not a union plumber.
As far as I can tell, you're likely not paying much in taxes. I would wager I've paid a lot more in social security taxes than you have.
Seeing theft does not give you the right to engage in it nor does it absolve you of the guilt for stealing.
I've never cheated a client. Not once. In fact, I love doing second opinion when I get to prove that another company lied (or was incompetent) to get extra business. This gets me a client for life, which is considerably more profitable than cheating someone for a quick buck in the long term.
You're pretty young and kinda stupid. You'll hopefully learn this stuff eventually.

No and I would rather make less profit and do a job right, than make more by cutting corners on a job. In the long run, being honest and ethical with customers is better business practice. You retain more customers that way. Any time you have to go back on a job to fix things that are not right in the first place, you lose money sending someone to fix what is wrong and more importantly, you probably stand a good chance of losing the customer. Get it right the first time.

Now, back to the Cubs patch.....it reminds me of the fact it's hard to get anything to rhyme with 16, for a team slogan. My slogan for 2008.....The Cubs end he wait in 2008, was magical. But coming up with one for 2016 is going to be tough....

It's funny, I think I get along with America well and I see his point of view about certain Cubs things, but Frank, I just wanna see him get hit in the face with a car door until he dies.
