No, I'd make a $250 bet with Scorehead and expect that he would pay. The guy used his own real name here, for God's sake. I really don't think he ever intended the thing with Chus to be an actual bet. It was just some shit-talking that went bad between the two guys. Nobody has any idea who this One Post guy is. I have no idea if I'll get the money when I win. That being the case, I probably should not have offered the bet.

Why don't you both PayPal me 250 each and I'll pay out to the winner at the end....
That's fair. Hell... you know where I live for God's sake.

This works for me. Or I can just send you a check. Or i can just send you cash.

Basically a $250 donation to JORR. I wish I could take the bet myself also.

Layaway plan. Pay off the bet $5 at a time if you lose.

I agree. One of the more terrible wagers I've seen on this board that didn't include Nas.

There are currently more really awful teams (The Reds-don't be fooled by the start...., Brewers, Phillies, Padres and Rockies that are not even really trying to win this year and will drag the N.L. down on such a bet. There are more outstanding teams perhaps in the N.L. this year than in years past, but the downtrodden group will screw up this bet.

Take that $500 and bet it over on the Bears wins at 6.5, then everybody will be happy come December.

Boyd: It looks like I finally get to kill you after all.
JORR: Well, that's a distinct possibility. But I'd bet, I don't know, four dollars against an hour with your mother that it doesn't turn out that way.
[Boyd hits him]
JORR: You're right. That was insulting, I'm sorry. Five bucks.
[Boyd hits him harder]
Boyd: Darkside felt a little reminder of your obligations would be in your best interest, given what just happened in interleague play. Not that you have any doubt who would kill you worse.
[JORR nods in agreement]
Boyd: Come midnight, you'd better win.

Would you like to bet on which league finishes with the better record? Come on, take advantage of your lead. I'll take the AL.

Sure, how about $250.

Im just curious why you bet on the NL with the AL's history of dominance?

Dude did it though. Gotta give the man some credit. They're both in this. No one is going to screw the other.

Schwarbers surgery went well and there was no unexpected damage to any nerves, so very likely he will be fully recovered. Great news!

For some AL team that they trade him to for pitching.

Probably Oakland.

Theo and Jed love this guy. I don't believe he will be traded anytime soon......as in not in the next couple of years. Hopefully the DH comes to the NL in that time period and that solves all issues with Schwarber.

No. But go away from Cub threads unless you get smarter or hop on the band wagon. You suck at this. Oh the Sux blow and do not let the fast start against the worst team in the A.L. sway you otherwise. They are shit. Nice rainout today or they would be exposed further.

Don't be jealous because the Sox have looked good and haven't lost their best player to injury early in the season the way the Cubs have. The Cubs are scoring a lot which is hiding the obvious problems with the pitching. Lackey looks finished. And Goldschmidt and some guy named Burrito used Arrieta for batting practice last night. Better hope they can maintain the scoring without Babe Ruth.

Joe Orr Road Rod Shithead is right, Arrieta is just a BP pitcher, Lackey is done, etc.

The cubs won't make the playoffs in 2015, Arrieta is throwing BP, you're just a windbag full of shit.

Lets go another bet. $100 bucks for every win/loss the sox are above/below 90.

Careful. The last person who suggested that type of bet was banned for a while.

the easier way to reduce your loss would have been to ask Joe if you could buy out of your position
