Someone at least tell me which episode Olivia Wilde gets naked in? I'd revenge porn the shit out of that.

People who don't like good music seem to hate it. You listen to garbage nu-country, so you should probably pass.

The music has been great.

Pretty ironic thing to say considering my favorite country artist (Sturgill Simpson) is the guy who did the theme song for this show.

So DB, who you crappin?

Shakes I wouldn't waste your time with this. I heard it might get a 2nd season which would be a bit surprising but based on having Scorcese and Jagger attached can take a show far on that network.

This show is really not good. And it sucks because the idea is a great one and it could have been so much more. Cannavale was great for a short run in Boardwalk Empire and he was awesome in a supporting role in The Station Agent (underrated movie), but he's just too much to be the lead in something like this. His overacting is like something out of the silent film era. And I never noticed before how wooden Olivia Wilde is. She's nice to look at though. And I love the Germanic blonde who was the leader of Das Sound Machine in Pitch Perfect 2.

I can't believe this crap is being written by Terrence Winter. He's got too much of a great track record. I"m gonna blame bigfan's New Trier classmate, Rich Cohen. If you've ever read Lake Effect, a coming-of-age story about growing up on the North Shore, some of the stilted dialogue in here is very similar. Rich should stick to writing non-fiction.

I said that I hoped the show progressed past watching Richie always fighting with the urge of wanting to do blow, then doing blow, then drinking, then remorse and so far, havent seen it.

i can. "boardwalk empire" board the living daylights out of me, and so did almost every episode he wrote of "the sopranos". he, frank spotnitz, john wells, and damon lindelof have been some of the luckiest, worst writers in the modern era. they usually get saved by great directors and script consultants.

I liked Boardwalk Empire. It had some slow spots, but it was a whole lot better than this.

Thanks, but I had already deleted it last week when all you guys could say positively about this show was the music. I've already got a radio, I use my TV for other purposes.

HBO just cancelled Vinyl. No season 2.

Probably for the best. I didn't realize until well after the season ended that the lead singer for the punk band was actually Jagger's son.
