This is a guy who is living on some kind of reputation about his talent. He needs to be shown how to do things properly in MLB but Robin will just go along reinforcing bad behavior. What would the lineup miss if he sat for a couple of games?

Oh, Im sure every team has every stat on everyone. Robin clearly ignores most of it though (i.e. Sacrifices, Stolen Base attempts etc)

Oddly enough, that seems to be a cultural thing with the White Sox. Not just the organization, but the fanbase as well. I think it goes back to the 50s when it was all but impossible to hit in the old ballpark and the Sox had to grind out 2-1 wins with mistake-free pitching, airtight defense, and scratching for runs anyway they could. I know old time Sox fans who really disliked the Frank, Magglio, Lee teams as "station-to-station" plodders. There is an overall fascination in White Sox Nation with the bunt and the steal.

Mauer is decidedly mediocre at best now. Even Danks should be able to get him out a couple of times.

There are dozens of things we can get on Ventura for. Going with a lefty lefty matchup in the later innings I don't think is one of them.

Robin, you class dunce, the team brought up Eric Johnson specifically for the purpose of pitching long relief until the pitching staff is restabilized. Danks gave you a shutout through the first two times around the order only with hopes and prayers. Why does he get to face Trout?

Robin did that a lot last year with Danks as well. After 3+ years haven't you learned anything about Danks? Isn't KW toady Don Cooper supposed to tell you it is time to pull him?
