She definitely isn't a neo-con either. Its a little extreme to lump her in with that crowd. Nor is she a pacifist/isolationalist either. She is a tad hawkish on foreign policy but i don't think she is going to go around advocating the overthrow of govts. There weren't any wars during Clinton's presidency. There were only limited military engagements.

This statement is puzzling. Clinton supported regime change in Iraq and Libya--and was an accomplice in the unconstitutional military coup in Honduras. Her record on foreign policy is abysmal, mirroring that of many neocons.

Not to me it isn't. Hillary Clinton's foreign policy record is that of her husband's as far as I'm concerned. It's not that of Bush's or Obama's for that matter. She took a stand in Iraq that a vast majority of other Senators took, both Republican and Democrat. Her vote was partly political and partly based upon the evidence. Her husband had a chance to overthrow Hussein and didnt. I'm assuming that she agreed moreso with him and less so with Bush.

Her job as Secretary of State was to support the President. Libya is Obama's and not Hillary's call. I'm assuming that you like Obama because you attach Libya to Hillary and not him, though he was, after all the President in charge at the time it occurred. Hillary Clinton doesn't set policy, Obama does.

The circuitous nature of your logic is impressive. Clinton voted for regime change in Iraq. American military intervention there has proven disastrous.

She also advocated for regime change in Libya, another disastrous decision. The fact that she hasn't distanced herself from this policy since leaving her position as Secretary of State confirms that she wasn't "just following orders" as you seem to believe.

As far as Honduras goes, Obama gave her authority to formulate policy in response to the military coup. Despite the fact that our ambassador there and many of her aides pressured her to reject the coup's legitimacy, she helped legitimate it.

Hillary Clinton's foreign-policy record is abysmal.

And Sanders foreign policy record, as was Obama's was that he voted against the war in Iraq. Once he actually acquired a record his was much worse than Bill Clinton's, whom Hillary is much closer with ideologically. I expect Sanders record to be similar if he has a chance to actually obtain one.

Sanders just chooses different foreign entities to "back".

Chavez and Putin come immediately to mind. Maybe I'm wrong. Or lying.

Isn't it noteworthy that Sanders has only recently received his first Senatorial endorsement while Hillary has garnered about 40. Is that something to be pondered and discussed, or should we simply dismiss it as just another example of the political establishment failing to recognize the greatness that is Bernie Sanders?

They recognize that he's a charlatan. A couple have openly asked why he has never proposed any of these policies he's running on.

Quote:
Hillary Promises to ‘Run Off on Da Plug Twice’ and Accidentally Says She Needs Some Marijuana
by Tommy Christopher | 2:31 pm, April 18th, 2016 30

Former Secretary of State and current Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton is often tagged with the criticism that she’s inauthentic, but in an interview with Power 101.5’s The Breakfast Club Monday, she kept it very real. Besides confessing to a long established concealed-carry hot sauce habit that still somehow got her criticized for “pandering,” Hillary embraced her unhip realness in a couple of other funny moments during the interview, both drug-related.

First, the hosts asked Hillary if she had ever tried to “Run Off On Da Plug Twice,” and rather than try to feign knowledge of the dance trend, she gamely promised to give it a try in private:

The dance, a popular end-zone dance, is, essentially, running in place, and refers to rapper Plies’ boast, in song, that he took off on his drug dealer without paying, then did it again. At some point, one would expect da plug to hit da gym.

Later in the show, Hillary had another coughing fit, and one of the hosts joked that she was “coughing like you got some medicinal,” a reference to medicinal marijuana. Clearly missing the reference, Hillary replied “I need some.”

There’s no way to know for sure, but I’d like to think if Hillary did get some medicinal, she would inhale.

I might have to get behind a Hillary nomination now. I'll give Bernie a couple days to match her on saying he needs some weed too though. I'm a fair guy.

I just want to see her dog walk Putin. Personal fantasy of mine.

Sanders probably could have won me over at some point had he explained how he would do anything.

Either you're serious here and are obviously ridiculous, or you're trolling and trying to be funny but are failing badly. I'm curious to know which it is.

Bingo! I'd like to know the answer as well.

Even more unfortunate is that the likes of Romney, Clinton, and Bush have to share presidential stages with undesirables like Sanders. There should be a minimum threshold for the amount of personal wealth one must possess before being eligible to run for president. That ought to make sure certain people know their proper place in life.

If he has nothing to hide he should share his tax returns.

Where the hell is this country going when the only candidate running a populist campaign has the audicity to live it up behind the scenes on the backs of regular guy taxpayers.

He makes $200k as a Senator. Even if the car is real.

He is 74. He is going to cash out now? Why wait so long?

No concern for Hilary's $100 million though.

WaitingforRuffcorn - what is the meaning behind your moniker? Just curious. Are you waiting for Scott Ruffcorn to win a game still?

I personally think her ridiculous level of experience trumps her political tendencies and realities. But Im a realist above all else and that is why she will get my vote. I see her far more competent than Bernine in every conceivable, hypothetical situation my mind can dream up - including current situations.

Im not going to penalize someone for making money and playing the game to win. I've lived too many years and seen too much of the actual world thanks to the last two wars, to do that shit. Give me Obama 2.0 with a little bit more of a backbone on geopolitical issues. With the current state of conservative politics, I think that is the best chance we have to get anything done, and get back the Senate.

And that last point, as Clooney pointed out, is where the majority of Clinton raised money will go - to state races to win back the Senate and House.

Not that it matters to your premise, but there's a difference between "making money" in something like business vs "making money" by leveraging one's political influence and connections.

She's not Obama 2.0, she's further right and Obama was too far right.
