I love Hood, but he's a dick to a lot of callers too.

Put up a stink? He's a freelancer.

When Dan solo shows in the past, he'd still bounce stuff off producers and update hosts, so it will be with Jason and Julie, as hand-picked as any two people could be for him.

I think Rozner really wanted the midday job with Spiegs.

Don't think for a second that Julie doesn't have her sauce covered fingers all over this thing:

Dan with Sir

Julie gets nights

Yes and if more people listen to Kap than whatever shit SCR shovels out there they'll have made a mistake, which is what CH was saying. Kap is Murph-esque.

Right, and especially with the Cubs on the station, having him there seems like a no-brainer. Of course, he's not just "not a Score guy," he's the antithesis of a Score guy, but whether through obtaining the Cubs or the Bernsteinification of the place, who is?

While there would be some initial entertainment value in hearing her get embarrassed by callers, I've got to think that would be one of the lowest-rated M-F shows in the station's history.

Kaplan is a fanboy. I'm just watching him now argue about how the 96 Bulls would kill this Warriors team. He referred to the 96 Bulls as "We". How is that gonna fly the first time he says "We" to Bernstein in transition?

No, like Curious Hair said, because of the Bernsteinification of the station, they can't have fanboys like Kaplan. Mitch made the choice. Mitch allowed Bernstein changed the Score culture. So Larry, Goff and all of these producers fall in line when they host shows Cuz they know they'll get Bernstein's wrath if they don't.

Yeah, Kap is a Fan Boy and you might have noticed they have his Fanboy team....

The difference is Kap genuinely loves the Cubs and it shows. Part of the reason I gave him a long leash with being annoying on WGN pre/post was that at least he was one of ours at heart. I mean, of course he was a back-slapping glad-handing company man, but you never doubted his bona fides as a sports fan. Senor Columnist, whose Cubs waters don't run too deep at all, would never let himself be upstaged like that.

But ESPN accomodates him. He is part of the Cubbie thing. He does pre and post for the comcast games. Since he's done at noon, he can get over to comcast for the 1:20 game. Wait, does he even do ESPN 1000 when he has a pre game show at 1pm? Anyway, he still does the Jokers Wild show so he couldn't do afternoons at the SCORE.

Plus I think Kaplan wouldn't want to be at the SCORE. He probably thinks they're all scumbags. Because they are. He likes being on a team with nice boys like Silvy, Waddle, Carmen and JD.

He and Bernstein would clash.

Who is Pop? Boers? No way Mitch would listen to him on his way out the door. Truth is Bernstein wouldn't want drinky as his partner. Behind closed doors I'm sure he's made that clear to Mitch.

Would absolutely love Mac to return. So who's driving this show? I don't see Kap playing second fiddle at this point.

He
is beating the last hour of Dumbass and Fatass and beating the shit out of the first hour of B&B. And ESPN pounds the rest of B&B. Danny's future is bleak, unless he takes a major paycut down the road.

Goff brags about killing it in the ratings. But I guess that's just for the Carm and Jurko portion. Why doesn't ESPN see these numbers and let Kap go 9-1.

Carmen is just awful. Worse than Goff like I've said.

Will B&B take credit for the increase in afternoon drive ratings due to the Cubs?
