My wife and I are on a getaway for the week with a couple friends. This morning, I dropped my wife and her friend off at the local horse stable so they could go horseback riding.

I got to talking to the owner, and he told me that last week, some local PETA members came in the middle of the night and let the horses out of the stable.

What the fuck is that supposed to prove and/or accomplish other than injuring the horses or getting them killed? The owner said one of the horses actually did injure its leg during the chaos, but they did manage to get all the horses back in without any getting hit by cars or running off. They were lucky that it was the middle of the night and there was no traffic.

What a bunch of childish jackoffs.

Everyone knows PETA are jackwads. My fiance loves animals but can't stand PETA.

Anyways, does your wife have big jugs or what?

Check out the Peta episode of Bullshit.
It's amazing how douchy and hypocritical they are.

It's almost as good as the one where they fooled those idiots into signing a petition to ban water.

The horses were literally out of the barn on in this case.

I have to admit laughing at the stupidity of just letting the horses go like a cartoon. "You're free now!"

Yeah, I don't know that I'd call myself an "animal lover", but I'm certainly a dog lover and I do care about the well-being of animals; however, these groups like PETA are so stupid, it's painful. It's not like horses at a horse riding place are leading miserable lives. They exercise them every day, take care of their health needs, and feed them well. At least pick somewhere that is abusive to the animals, and even then, don't just release domesticated animals into the fucking woods to die.

I have a crazy ass friend who has more disdain for authority even than I do. His daughter just got out of college and got her first real job. He was telling me about it and he said in the most disgusted sneering manner possible, "She works in a cubicle..."

Last week I was driving to work and came across a group of 10-15 horses just chilling in the middle of the road...granted this is the middle of the sticks so I don't suspect this was anything more than someone forgetting to close a gate but reading your comment it is funny thinking the horses who are supposedly "free" couldn't be bothered to do anything more than just hang out in the middle of the road and chill because they don't know any better.

I'd ask what PETA is hoping to accomplish from this but that would require they actually know what they are hoping to accomplish.

It's only a small percentage of PETAs that are jackwads.
