I thought they played well tonight. That goal was Crawford's fault.

Or maybe have the best final game in NBA history. Would of been Jordan if he never came back with Washington.

Hawks played well tonight. A 0-0 OT game in the playoffs can obviously go either way. The outcome isn't an indication of anything.
The Hawks thrive on adversity. They may go down 0-2 but Hitch is gonna Hitch.

See my "#1 star" comment above. TvR was standing in front of Crawford. Backes basically was just throwing the puck toward the goal, and it went off TvR's skate. If TvR is paying attention, that doesn't happen.

I have not been as down on TvR as others this season, but he played a shit game last night. At least two turnovers, and scored the game-losing goal.

If I am a Blues fan I am not happy at all. It took OT and a fluke goal to win a game they had at home without one of the Hawks best players.

The Hawks are fine.

They will win it in 6.

Tough loss, but overall I felt the Hawks were the better team. Playing without Keith and losing on a fluke goal isn't that disheartening.

The goal itself could've been prevented had Crawford frozen the puck 20 seconds earlier rather than trying to push it up to a teammate for a quick zone exit. Turnover resulted and the goal came quickly after that. Nothing TVR can do on the goal itself. You don't have enough time to get out of the way and even if you did you wouldn't want to in case there is a Blues player waiting all alone on the back door for that pass. As a defender you want that puck hitting you on the way through, but there's always that 5% chance its going to bank into the net and unfortunately we landed right in that 5% fluke zone.

Not like that hasn't happened before with these teams.

When the opposing goalie is 59/60 against you across the last two games, definitely don't want to put too many skilled forwards in the lineup. Should be another St. Louis win.

Yeah that 3rd line winger will probably be the difference between winning and losing tonight

He not only adds nothing but brings the whole line down. Why choose to make yourself bad?

So Panik was good enough to play on the first line with Toews late in the saeson, but can't be on any of the 4 lines now?

Hell, put Weiss in there; at least he brings some offense

Svedberg in for Gustafsson as well. This is unwise. We need every good player we can get against the Blues' depth. Hawks in serious trouble if they head back home down 0-2 against a top road team.

Svedberg was in Game 1; it's more like Keith in, Gustafsson out.

Frankly, I would rather see Roszival out, but whatever.

Rozsival needs days off, but is also good for a hero game or two in the playoffs. Game 1 might have been that, though. Gustafsson is inconspicuous at best while Svedberg is clearly useless. This was the wrong move and the Hawks may pay.

Blues had 55 points on the road this year, 51 in 2014. That's only one point lower than the Hawks at home.

For no reason, I believe this is gonna be a blow out.

5-1 Hawks. Kane 2 goals and 2 assists.

Blues dictating play early. Power play needs to score here.

No StL SOG in nearly 13 minutes?

Try harder.

Box score has four on goal, one missed, one blocked for St. Louis. Hawks listed at zero, four, and five.

You are correct; I'll give you that one,

Never did the Hawks have sustained pressure in that period. This was like a Miles Davis/Bill Evans composition: All Blues
