Hit and Run had a good interview with him about his biography of Cobb; Ty Cobb: A Terrible Beauty. He maintains, through extensive research, most all we know about Cobb was fabricated by Al Stump.
I am looking forward to picking it up.

Of course, Terry already knew all this.

I always heard the legend of Cobb was that he was an evil racist and he killed a guy. You're saying that's not true? Well, now he's less interesting.

Just got Crazy Good from the library on the President's recommendation and ordered the Cobb book form Amazon. Looking forward to reading them both.
