So in the Tweeter Headline she put on her story about reporting on violence against women in the sports world she says that , "Reporters Should Know What They are Reporting On." She insists that she needs twitter for her job. She retweets an article (lawyers out there, is this publishing when you retweet?) then later back tracks on it to seem like she is the good guy. She complains about the stereotypes in her timeline but her supporters had no problem using stereotypes when discussing that retweeted Cardinals fan story. Her and her type don't realize the hypocrisy they live in just because they put their cause above others. I just find it funny that she says that reporters don't know what they are reporting on and then she retweets an inaccurate story.

Dan, I find it funny that her tone is pretty much, "men don't understand what women go through" when discussing rape or online harassment. As if a man shouldn't have an opinion on the subjects. However, she is more than ok to opine on alleged racism. I'd love for African Americans to go after her, "white people don't understand what it's like being black in America."

"Published on Tuesday, 19 April 2016 09:00 Todd Cavanah, Program Director for WBBM-FM/B96 and WJMK-FM/104.3 K-HITS, has been promoted to the new role of Vice President of Programming for CBS Radio's entire Chicago cluster of stations. The promotion is effective immediately.

Even with his new duties as Vice President of Programming for CBS Radio Chicago, Cavanah will continue to serve as Program Director of WBBM-FM and WJMK-FM.

In this newly-created role for Cavanah, he will work closely with CBS Radio Chicago's other four stations: WUSN-FM/US 99.5, WXRT-FM/93XRT, WBBM-AM/Newsradio 780 & 105.9 (simulcast on WCFS-FM), and WSCR-AM/670 The Score. Those four stations' Program Directors will now report to Cavanah.

Cavanah's primary duty will be to focus on long-term programming strategies and identifying ratings opportunities for the stations.

Tim Pohlman, CBS Radio Chicago Senior Vice President and Market Manager, said in Tuesday morning's announcement: "With nearly 30 years of programming experience, Todd will be a strong and capable leader in this newly created position for CBS Radio Chicago. I am excited to see him lend his programming expertise and knowledge across all of our iconic brands."

Uhm, Julie, those people aren't claiming to be "journalists" or "running down this story". You proclaimed yourself to be investigation of these claims, and tweeted an article claiming closure to those allegations.

Julie is someone who regularly takes shots at random people on the Metra and CTA in her Twitterfeed, and who regularly lectures reporters for not treating women properly in their reporting. Yet, she is not to blame for pushing the narrative that a fanbase is racist without anything to support it, and she was the first to lash out at fans for calling bullshit on it.

On another note, who really believed that en mass fans were screaming the n-word. I have probably been to more than 100 baseball games including several in St. Louis. I do not recall ever hearing someone scream that in even their drunkest state, let alone several people.
